Elite 11 Finals: Day 1 Report

Taylor was comfortable in every drill I saw him in and was consistently delivering the best balls of the night. He drops to his spot quickly, has a very quick release and had no problem throwing with velocity down the field despite the wing. The ball jumps out of his hand and he looks casual doing it. The ball was coming out of his hand nicely and he was always getting the ball out on time. I thought he got better as the day went on and showed good accuracy in the redzone drills. He had nice touch on the deep balls and was accurate to all three levels. I came in thinking his skillset shows better on film than in a camp setting but his arm talent shined on Friday and his athleticism showed while throwing on the run. He was one of the more accurate throwers when receivers were stationary and when they were moving targets. He has a quick, compact release with a smooth follow through and showed good arm strength despite the wind throughout the event. He really caught my eye early in the day making excellent throws to the stationary receivers. He can throw hard and some receivers were having trouble catching some of the short and intermediate throws.
