Every rankings cycle, we move players around.

It's not an exact science, but it's a good one that has no choice but to start early. And with our Class of 2029 charts now boosted to more than 100 players, we're making movement that has to be recognized. That leads us here.

The Stockrisers.

Of the 103 players now included in the youngest possible group we're scouting, we've got those who've gone above and beyond to boost their personal stock in advance of their sophomore seasons. Each of the 13 players below made an upward climb - and, no, we're not simply talking about the repercussions of the former No. 1 overall transferring out of state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1623307' first='Xavier' last='Wright'] QB, Gray Collegiate (Up four spots) (pictured)

Wright isn't our top-ranked quarterback in the class, but he is closing the gap somewhat with an offseason that's included the, um, right, kind of work. Less than a full year after he bumped a senior from the starting job at Gray and threw for 2,200 yards and 22 touchdowns (against five picks), Wright has taken command of an offense that's also sporting some top-end rising seniors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1584084' first='Jadon' last='Inabinett'] RB, John Paul II (Up five spots)

We didn't go crazy on Inabinett, but we're seeing exactly why he's going to start drawing some serious attention - even while nestled down in Ridgeland. The freshman got our attention by rushing for 951 yards and averaging 8.3 per clip. But he really piques our interest by how well he catches the ball and then knows how to find open space. Going for 17+ a reception is impressive from the position, let alone this age at the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1827516' first='Jaylen' last='Davis'] LB, Central (Up five spots)

Davis has checked all the boxes to get a bigger ask as a sophomore. After all, he put up 50 tackles as a freshman and finished only behind teammates who have now exhausted their eligibility. Davis is going to move to the middle of the defense and is now the odds-on favorite to be the guy for the Eagles. He's got enough size to make any play asked of him, and we're positive he's not done adding to his frame.

[player_tooltip player_id='2106779' first='Bennett' last='Hyde'] LB/TE, Eastside (Up six spots)

The more we looked at Hyde's impact from the end of the 2025 season, the more we realized his role will only continue to expand as time goes on. The Eagles made that type of decision after seeing him dip and dive throughout different parts of his skill set on both sides of the ball. He's a quality blocker and budding pass catcher as a tight end and a potential every-down linebacker capable of averaging double figure tackles per game. His stock has only started to rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='1881788' first='Nibras' last='Harrison'] ATH, Dillon (Up six spots)

Harrison the freshman will look nothing like Harrison the sophomore. In the older version, he was the team's second or third receiving target playing behind a future P4 receiver. In the here and now, he's the Wildcats' new starting quarterback. Yes, he'll have huge shoes to fill (the guy he's replacing was the aforementioned out-of-state transfer). But he's a natural dual-threat quarterback who can throw and make plays with his legs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1724433' first='Kadyn' last='Stevenson'] WR, Hillcrest (Up six spots)

While another player might hold claim to most returning receiving yards and catches, Stevenson's connection with the rest of the offense can't be overlooked moving forward. He's fast and extremely explosive and plays much bigger than his 5-foot-9, 165 pounds worth of measurables. The Rams are going to exploit it as much as possible, and at some point in the next two seasons, we believe Stevenson will be hitting 10 or more receiving touchdowns in a season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2106766' first='Hayzon' last='Lumpkin'] DL, South Pointe (Up six spots)

Some of those insane figures Lumpkin put up last fall can be attributed to the Stallions' extended postseason run and eventual state title. But the eventual state title can be partially attributed to Lumpkin's success, too. He finished with 13 tackles for loss. It may look like child's play after Lumpkin has added some serious weight and now chimes in 310 pounds. He's starting to display even more freakish strength. Sorry, South Pointe opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='1818034' first='Gavin' last='Pyles'] DL, Fountain Inn (Up eight spots)

If Pyles was a rising senior, scouts would declare him as a tweener and debate if he was too small for the line and/or too big for an OLB spot. The fact that he hasn't even completed his first year of high school tells us (and those scouts who are starting the evaluation process) that he's got time to increase his size even more while holding onto his respectable movement numbers. Pyles is going to be a huge problem moving forward as his place in this game solidifies further.

[player_tooltip player_id='2106772' first='Corey' last='Miller'] WR, Dutch Fork (Up eight spots)

Erring on the side of caution is a way of life for Prep RedZone when it comes to transfers. It's difficult to see where a lot of players fit in with their new programs until we start seeing how everything translates from one school to the next. With Miller, though, the writing is on the wall. He's going to be a starter for a program that is pretty darn happy with its passing attack (and the quarterback running it) and Miller is going to mesh into that scheme just fine.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301735' first='Dash' last='Holley'] LB, Northwestern (Up 11 spots)

Holley may be among the more noticeable climbers, seeing as he jumped into the overall Top Two of our rankings. Our reasoning is clear: Holley saw plenty of time as more of an edge rusher as a freshman and most of our early evaluations took that into consideration. Now, he's back at his natural linebacker spot and bumping into the starting lineup for one of the state's most consistent blue bloods.

[player_tooltip player_id='2106792' first='Jamar' last='Brown'] LB, Mountain View Prep (Up 19 spots)

For all the flash the Stars have brought to football fields around the Upstate in their first two seasons, Brown is giving folks reason to believe the MVP defense is pretty darn good, too. His tackles stats are solid; his ability to disrupt and offensive backfield is even better. Roughly half of his tackles last fall were the product of TFLs and sacks. His seek-and-destroy method will become more refined, and that's a scary thought.

[player_tooltip player_id='1825516' first='Jyree' last='Grady'] DB, River Bluff (Up 29 spots)

Grady is small. As in, we verified him at 5-foot-7 and 151 pounds in April. Good? Because now you need to forget about his size and look at how productive he is and focus on that. Grady not only finished with 64 tackles, two interceptions, eight pass break-ups and a fumble recovery as a freshman. He also showed up to the Carolinas Coaches Combines last month and ran a 4.44 40-yard dash and hit 109 inches on the broad jump. His athleticism shines brighter than his measurables.

[player_tooltip player_id='1816760' first='Zay' last='Moseley'] WR, Greer (Up 40 spots)

When we introduced y'all to Moseley in our last rankings cycle, we placed him relatively low while we updated our full evaluation of him. And at this time, we're having a hard time not seeing him as one of the top receivers coming up the ranks. The two guys ahead of him in the positional group have major offers already. For Moseley, he's going to be next in line. He's more than comfortable with both Greer quarterbacks and fits into an offense tailor-made for some heady production this fall.
