He has good man coverage skills and also looks comfortable working in zone, where he does a nice job reading the quarterback's eyes. He trusts his instincts and isn't afraid to jump shorter routes when he sees an opportunity. He added a nice pick-six this year and consistently showed playmaking ability in the secondary. He's a good athlete with solid instincts in the backend and shows a decent break on the ball when opportunities come his way. He also plays the ball well in the air and competes at the catch point. He finished with 12 tackles and 3 PBUs while getting his feet wet at the varsity level. He sees plays developing well and reacts quickly once the ball is in front of him. He's a solid open-field tackler and does a nice job getting his hands up to disrupt passing lanes and bat balls down. He put together an impressive year two with 33 tackles, 6 PBUs, 1 TFL, and 1 interception.
