Evidently, he relies on his size and play strength in the run game, consistently generating movement and executing strong in-line and trap blocks. Sliding and protecting to pick up blitzers or opposing defenders shedding through were major points. Equally important, Dixon has a strong finishing ability in his blocks. Offensive linemen up front have to be willing to bring power, have a low pad level, and have quickness at the point of attack. These offensive linemen are dominating in the trenches and should be gaining more attention moving through the year.
