Section V: Showstoppers and Who’s Next?

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For the Section V season, there are players that I have below that I am keeping my eyes on for the upcoming year who can be showstoppers. Each player has the talent and potential to take the next step in their development and make a bigger impact. Twomey plays with discipline, physicality, and strength coming downhill at opponents. Additionally, his sound tackling technique, aggressive pursuit, and quickness at the POA are key areas. No doubt he has versatility in the FB position as he runs with power through opponents. Patterson operates at both the LT and OG positions, where he was able to withstand rushers at the POA. Moreover, he has a lot of balance and control, which grants him being a valuable anchor on the outside. The athleticism to stay in the grasp of rushers and get moving on pull actions stands out when working in space. In effect, he can get outside the pocket with an explosive amount of speed and juke moves to make defenders miss in space. The ability to be used on QB draws and powers was evident in his play, especially in the red zone. Thereafter, Brown has the ability to push the ball down the field to his receivers. Undeniably, he will hit WRs in stride and in tight windows with throws. He flies around the field with outstanding closing quickness. Equally, he will sniff out runs and screens with strong instincts. Zicari excels at crashing into the backfield to create TFLs while also displaying the speed and range to work sideline-to-sideline. Meanwhile at the TE position, he is not afraid to go up and make leaping catches. His awareness to evade pressure stood out consistently on tape. Allowing him to escape the rush and create opportunities outside the pocket. Undoubtedly, he can place the football into difficult windows that appear. There is a present of accuracy that this team can build around. Mangone will hit WRs in the end zone on a variety of routes. The upcoming junior primarily operated out of the shotgun run game, where his vision, patience, and burst consistently stood out. Certainly, Buckner can fly through the A-gap and make quick moves on defenders at the second level with ease. What is even more impressive is turning outside runs into explosive scoring plays. Similarly, at the FS position, he can cover a lot of ground.
