Dekeen moves up 10 spots to in the recent rankings to take the #1 overall spot. He put together an impressive freshman year and is a multi-tool Edge rusher. With having elite size, length, speed, strength and high football IQ, he is able win in many ways. With a quick first step and active hands, Dekeen is able to beat OTs and closes quickly on the QB. He can also long arm to hold the edge and shows great instincts to make the right play. Kuyateh plays with a tireless motor and shows good pursuit and the want to in making plays.

A complete package at the edge/DE spot, Dekeen has National Prospect potential as long as he continues to develop and fill out his frame. Colleges feel the same way as he already holds almost double digit offers including ones from UGA, Texas A&M, Oregon, and UMD.

Jackson moved up almost 10 spots in the recent rankings, and is now a top 20 overall player and #3 rated QB. I have gotten eyes on Jackson a few times this year: in-game, workouts, 7v7s, & he continues to impressive as a player on the rise. With good size/build for a QB already as a freshman, Herbert will grow into being a big body player with a strong arm. He shows excellent footwork already and can really spin it. Gets velocity and good air on his passes. In line to be the full time starter for McDonogh this fall after putting together some good film in limited time last season.

With a strong sophomore season Jackson could be in line for another rise in the rankings and plenty more attention from colleges. He already holds 2 offers, one from Memphis and an offer from USF he just picked up. A QB that should definitely be on college boards this spring/summer.

Sean made a strong leap of almost 10 spots to making it into the overall top 20 and now being the #2 overall OL prospect in the the class. A versatile OL, Sean can play OT/OG and makes an impact on the Dline as well. He is a key member of young SJCP squad looking to make some noise next fall. Sean plays with good bend, able to sink his hips and hold a strong base. He plays with good feet, a high motor and good power in his hands. Look forward to seeing how Sean develops into his sophomore season as he has some impressive physical tools.

Sheldon makes the move of the Watch List from the early season rankings to now being the #31 overall player and the #3 OL prospect. He has excellent size standing 6'5" and 300lbs+. A basketball player as well, he has active feet and shows well in pass pro, moving laterally in short burst. Once engaged with a defender, Sheldon keeps his hands inside, gets good leverage and brick walls them. A lot of potential in Sheldon as a prospect as he develops. Would like to see him develop his physicality and finishing. He's bigger and stronger than basically everyone he goes up against - know that, play with confidence and bury them!

Sheldon has P4 potential down the line and look forward to seeing him over the year and watch him reach his ceiling. I can see Sheldon being a mainstay at the top of these rankings in the future with the physical tools and talent he displays.

Terrell makes him 29 Rankings debut as a top 50 overall prospect and the #3 overall RB in the class. He has limited varsity reps this past fall but made the most of it when he was on the field. Putting up 300yds and 3 TDs on just 22 carries for a 13.6 avg per carry. That shows Terrell has excellent explosiveness with the ball in his hands. With excellent burst through the LOS to pair with quick feet, he will find space and get up field quickly. Tons of twitch in the hips and wiggle as well, Terrell has make you miss ability in the open field. He is also effective in the passing game, able to line up in the slot or catch out of the backfield.

A RB who is poised for a big sophomore campaign, Terrell has home run ability every time he touches the ball. Quick and shifty, He runs hard and looks to be a complete RB. A player colleges should start keeping an eye on and follow up with after next fall.

Brody makes his debut as the #7 Edge defender after a freshman year where he came on stronger and stronger as the season went along. He split time between JV/Varsity last fall, but got more reps on varsity later in the year and into the playoffs. He's got nice size at 6'4" and a frame that is adding bulk by the month. Brody should fill out nicely over the years and can see him easily being a jacked up 230lbs+ down the line. He plays with good bend and pop of the snap. Strong enough to hold the edge, athletic enough to beat blockers with speed & hand work. Brody shows good hips as well. Able to re-direct, chase and pursue and play in space on the edge.

Look for Brody to move up the DeMatha depth chart and get more play as a sophomore. May have to still wait his turn a bit with how loaded the Stags are along the DL, but Brody will be on for the future that should continue to impress.

Champ makes his 29 rankings debut as the #3 overall WR in the class and is a player with tons of potential for the future. A playmaker from the slot or lined up out wide, Champ shows excellent footwork in both his route running and RAC. Very smooth/fluid runner, he plays light on his feet able to seamlessly transition out of breaks & change direction in the open field. An effective WR across all three levels of the passing game, Champ gets it done all over the field. He shows natural hands and isn't shy of contact, will make tough catch look easy.

A player that could has a breakout sophomore season as he gets more varsity reps next fall for SJC. Champ is one I am excited to see more of his game going forward & continue to compete for the #1 WR spot in the 29 class.
