[player_tooltip player_id='2087889' first='Jaycob' last='Taylor'] was awesome with his high school program in 2025, as he led the state in his class in sacks with 5.5 on the season. He is going to be even better this season, as the only thing that would hold him back is an injury, which we should all hope doesn't happen. He is a freak and is developing into a monster off the edge. His bag of pass-rushing moves will only get better, and will only improve when he is going up against talented offensive linemen. The sky is the limit for Taylor, and he will be worth keeping an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1454060' first='Timothy' last='Behling'] is one of the better players in the state of Georgia, regardless of class, as he finished with the most interceptions out of any 2029 prospect. He is a ball hawk, and he will teach quarterbacks real quick that he isn't the one worth testing. He will change games this season in a good way, as I don't expect him to give up many, if any, touchdowns, and he will be on his way to gaining some college traction. Behling has all the traits one could want, and he will be one worth watching, as he looks to finish with even more than four interceptions, which was an elite season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2178072' first='Aaron' last='Jefferson'] is one of the better players in the state of Georgia with a very high ceiling, as he can play both linebacker and running back, but his future seems to be at the linebacker position. He finished the season with an insane 112 tackles as a freshman. He was the general of the defense, and will be the captain of the defense this year. He is a reliable run stuffer, but his experience in the backfield allows great footwork to stop crossing routes and being able to jump passes. I don't say this much, but he is one of my favorite prospects in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1894091' first='Sam' last='Wasson'] is listed as a running back, but let's not get it twisted, as he finished with the most tackles among any high school player in the state of Georgia as a freshman. As a freshman, he led the pack with 130 tackles, with Jefferson following behind. Everything said about Jefferson can be said about Wasson as well, as both players are similar in their production, and both players are similar in the hype around them. Wasson has the chance to be the best player in the state from the 2029 class on the defensive side of the football.

[player_tooltip player_id='1938325' first='Leland' last='Walker'] is one of the more gifted players in the class of 2029, both in the state of Georgia and in the nation. He is a ball hawk who intimidates opposing teams with his length from his arms, as well as his closing speed. This allowed him to finish the season with three interceptions. He will have another electric season in 2026, as he will have the chance to show his development, and is likely to get ranked sooner rather than later.
