612 Skills Camp: Nate’s Underclassmen QB Standouts

Because of all the talent we found, we have it broken up between the underclassmen and my top-tier group of mostly upperclassmen. The 6'1 178 pounder, surely held his own being one of the youngest quarterbacks and prospects in attendance. For his age, I came away impressed with his ball placement as the few reps I was able to watch he was quite balanced in getting the ball right where it should be. Tyson possessed good arm strength too for his age on intermediate routes. For his age, I thought this young showed off encouraging throwing mechanics as well. Another area where Jake caught my attention, was with the balanced he had in his arm strength as especially on intermediate routes, he showed a handful of different strengths in his delivery to get the ball on point where it needed to be. In the reps I was able to watch out of Easton, he showed off clean mechanics for his age and I was impressed with the ball placement Easton had for his age. He ran a 4.82 40-yard dash and a 4.55 pro agility on lasers on Saturday in St. Paul at the 612 Skills Camp but what I saw in his throwing reps is which intrigued me. Jack was on point in just about every throw I watched and what else intrigued me was the poise I could gauge this young man had in the pocket before firing out of it. He showed off a live arm that seemed to be persistent on all three levels. That last name should be no stranger to those that follow recruiting in Minnesota, as Jack's two older brothers have been on our radars in recent years. I loved watching Jack's poise he displayed inside the pocket and there was plenty of consistency with that the more reps I was able to watch. He was another one that could stretch his trhows on all three levels and was pure in getting his ball to receivers in stride.
