Walters, Holt, Shereck Lead the Pack for Grand Forks 2027s

We did an afternoon deep dive of some of our highest ranked prospects in and around Grand Forks including a 2027 tight end from nearby that I hope to unlock a live eval on this summer at camps. This group of five come from Central, Red River, and nearby Thompson.    Tyson is a 2027 safety that you can tell from the jump, plays with great range and instincts and surely is one I have on my radar to jump up our 2027 North Dakota rankings. Tyson is also on-point with timing with his ball-tracking ability and that is persistent on deep and intermediate routes. The 6'1 186 pounder from Grand Forks Central is also a physical tackler at the point of attack and has some position flexibility as far as which safety spot he could play at the next-level.   <a href="https://x.com/tyson_vanyo" id="https://x.com/tyson_vanyo">TWITTER</a>     Kaden is a top 60 overall prospect out of Grand Forks Red River in this class and comes out as our #4 ranked EDGE rusher and there's room to grow for the 6'5 220 pounder. He has not only the power you want from a hands perspective but also has the fluid get off hands to get to the point of attack. Kaden also moves quite well for his size laterally and can cause disruption along the edges. He's another one that I feel has position flexibility as an edge or a 4-tech or 5-tech in my eyes. He's already had a herd of junior day visits this spring at the D1 and D2 level. 4.0 GPA   <a href="https://x.com/KadenHolt19" id="https://x.com/KadenHolt19">TWITTER</a>     One of our top ranked 2027 prospects out of Grand Forks at the moment, is Grand Forks Central linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1314742' first='John' last='Shereck'] who is LB3 in our North Dakota 27' rankings. The 5'11 220 pounder is a lurking middle linebacker that's one of the bigger hitters I have seen amongst linebackers in North Dakota class. He also has one of higher motors amongst the 2027 linebackers in this class as one that is versatilie with his agile movement vertically and laterally to attack the edges and the fronts in the run game and as a pass-rusher. John also boosts good instincts with his vision in the inside gaps. He's one that I feel should catch even more attention this summer. Another Grand Forks target with a 4.0 GPA.   <a href="https://x.com/JShereck74693" id="https://x.com/JShereck74693">TWITTER</a>     If we are talking about gunslingers in Grand Forks, Reese checks out on tape as one of the best in the area in this 2027 class heading into his senior season. The 6'3 190 pounder is extremely precise with his ball placement and can make those types of throws on all three levels. There also is persistence in the reps I see out of Reese with his poise in the pocket as on tape even though you see a few snaps off line, you never see this young man rattled in the pocket despite it. I have him as our QB9 in the class, but surely expect that stock to rise up this summer as he put together some sound reps on light tape due to injury as a junior.     Newcomer alert to our 2027 North Dakota rings for tight end/edge rusher [player_tooltip player_id='1918034' first='Bryn' last='Adams'] of Thompson, right down the road on I-29 from Grand Forks. More of a blocking tight end for the Thompson Tommies in his junior season, Bryn showed off overwelming hands, good pad-level and angle blocking ability when the running game behind him needed a push and a strong pursuit angles. The amount of 1v1 wins this young man had in blocking schemes last season, makes me curious of his upside in the passing game now with NDSU signee [player_tooltip player_id='1113072' first='Cash' last='Danner'] onwards to Fargo. He's one I hope to get a live eval on this summer at camps.
