He also has a motor that never quits, as he is constantly chasing plays all over the field. Tirpak also has a strong arm, and you really see it in his film on deep balls. He also knows how to put a good touch on the ball. He is especially known for how to put touch on the ball when he sees one-on-one matchups downfield. He also shows pocket presence. He is not afraid to sit in the pocket and throw the ball when he faces pressure. He is excellent at reading run plays and coming upfield to make tackles. He is also a good tackler who tackles well in the open field. Another strength is his ability to run sideline-to-sideline while chasing plays. Finally, he is also a good tackler. As a safety, he showed good coverage skills. He also showed a good ability to break on the ball when it is thrown in his direction. As a wide receiver, he shows good ability to create separation with his speed. He then catches the ball in traffic in between defenders at a high rate. He played as both a slot receiver and a running back. He was used a ton in the run game. In particular, as a slot receiver, he was used on jet sweeps where he showed speed and elusiveness. He also shows good patience as he waits for the hole to open, then he uses his excellent speed to hit it. As a running back, he was excellent on toss sweeps as he caught the ball outside and made defenders miss. Lawson has catching ability as well, but it was seen in small amounts of film.
