He played as both a slot receiver and a running back. He was used a ton in the run game. In particular, as a slot receiver, he was used on jet sweeps where he showed speed and elusiveness. He also shows good patience as he waits for the hole to open, then he uses his excellent speed to hit it. As a running back, he was excellent on toss sweeps as he caught the ball outside and made defenders miss. Lawson has catching ability as well, but it was seen in small amounts of film. I expect a big jump next season from him.
