We're back with a new Recruiting Report!   Today, we're diving into some recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have had huge months, so we're diving into the latest surrounding their recruitment.   As always, make sure you watch their film below! [player_tooltip player_id='657147' first='Braiden' last='Howard'], a 2027 DB from Opelika, has seen a ton of recent buzz surrounding his recruitment.   “Howard is quick, plays with a ton of speed, and dominates out in coverage. It was easy to see this both in person at camp and on tape.   I was really impressed with Howard's ability to adjust to WRs- he isn't easily beaten and wears down WRs physically, making it really difficult for them to haul in passes. Howard does a great job getting his hands on the ball- he's seriously good at breaking up and picking off passes. Offenses need to have him circled every down going into next season if they want to move the ball in the passing game.“   In the last week, Howard has picked up offers from Arkansas State and Wofford!   Everyone needs to look out for him this upcoming fall. I think he's only going to pick up more attention- just watch.      [player_tooltip player_id='1850672' first='Damarrian' last='Barnes'] is a talented RB from Stanhope Elmore who's picked up a bunch of attention this offseason.   “Barnes has elite vision, impressive speed and acceleration, and runs with great contact balance. Barnes did a great job finding rushing lanes and taking the ball upfield. He's patient when following his blockers and has the speed and elusiveness to shake and leave defenders in the dust   It's tough for defenders to take Barnes down. He's a hard runner with great contact balance and can power through defenders to make some highlight reel plays on the ground. I'm excited to see more from him this season.“   Yesterday, Barnes picked up an offer from Austin Peay!   He's sure to have more offers head his way soon. He's a talented prospect coming off a really impressive year last fall. See for yourself below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1621015' first='Joey' last='Fleming'] is a talented OT from Huntsville who's seen his recruitment take off in the last year.   “At 6'6 260, Fleming is a big underclassman who already provides terrific pass protection and run blocking for his team upfront. Fleming is a hard man to beat in the trenches; he explodes off the line, plays with great leverage, and has the strength to consistently pave defenders into the dirt at the LOS and in the open field.   I'm really impressed with Fleming's ability to protect the quarterback- he's a serious anchor on the offensive line who consistently uses his athleticism and physicality to keep pass rushers outside of the pocket, providing tons of time and security for his QB.“   Yesterday, Fleming added a new offer from Virginia Tech!   Fleming has seen a ton of collegiate attention over the last year, and when you watch his tape, it makes sense why. Be sure to take a look for yourself below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1544159' first='Jaxson' last='Dixon'] is a talented prospect from Foley who's picked up some real attention in the recruiting world.   “Dixon has game-changing speed everywhere he lines up. He can completely flip the field in a moment's notice, and it's not hard to see on tape. Dixon can take short passes to the house and burn defenses over the top for huge gains as well.   Dixon also gains terrific separation in the passing game- he's quick on his feet, runs great routes, and can beat DBs anywhere on the field.“   In the last few weeks, Dixon has picked up two new offers from Mercer and Samford!   Dixon made a ton of huge plays this past season. Be sure to check out some of his tape below. You'll come away impressed:      [player_tooltip player_id='1660602' first='Avrian' last='Pauley'] is a dominant DL from McGill Toolen who's seen his recruitment take off in the last few months.   "At 6'6 260, Pauley has terrific size and athleticism on the defensive line he uses to dominate the line of scrimmage almost every snap. He's quick, has great length, and plays with impressive leverage, consistently putting OL on their heels to create stops for little or no gain.   I'm really impressed with how well Pauley defends the run- he's physical at the point of attack, gets a ton of push on the line of scrimmage, and completely takes away rushing lanes, helping his defense come up with tons of stops upfront."
