Thinner back. Scrappy, light on his feet, and agile enough to find space. Solid speed, but could get faster if he could run less upright. Underrated, explosive player who can get better and raise his floor. If I were at an FBS school, I wouldn’t mind seeing this kid work up close.

Barnes had an incredible year this fall, recording 249 carries for 2199 yards and 31 TDs on the ground, dominating every defense he faced.

We all need to look out for Barnes this upcoming year. He’ll be a force in the 6A and has another huge year ahead of him next season.

Barnes has been a focal point of his team’s offense this season. In 10 games, he’s racked up 2059 yards and 29 TDs on 227 carries.

Barnes was unstoppable this week. He recorded 17 carries for a ridiculous 392 yards and 5 TDs.

I hadn’t watched Barnes before this week, but man, did he impress.
