Curylo was a stat sheet stuffer in 2025, and helped lead the Tuckahoe Defense, to a State Championship. Despite falling short, the defense was loaded, making play after play throughout the season. Standing at 6'0" 185-Pounds, Curylo displays a solid frame for the LB Position. I do want to see him reach 200-Pounds to help him fill out his frame. Curylo is an outstanding prospect, who displays a high IQ, and keeps his eyes in the backfield. He is a force fumble and tackle machine, and displays a high understanding of a punch technique which has led to multiple turnovers this season. Curylo is a wrecking ball, that every defense needs.

Heading up north to Rochester, we have [player_tooltip player_id='1513254' first='Zieyaun' last='Cook-Tyson']. The East Prospect, saw his ranking shoot up into the top ten, after an impressive season with his squad. Standing at 5'11" 180-Pounds, he displays a solid frame for the LB Position. To help fill out his frame, he should look to reach 190-195 Pounds. Cook Tyson, moves well laterally, and follows the ball carrier well. He has exceptional strength, and uses it at the POA, to make tackles and force fumbles. He is great in coverage, and can actually drop back as a Safety in Defensive Schemes, where he moves well, showing good footwork, and can stay with opposing playmakers.

Saladino is a new player to the 2027 Rankings, and a good edition 100%. Ranking middle of the class, and at the position, the Fordham Prep LB, can also play the EDGE Position, and displays elite versatility in his game. Standing at 6'0" 200-Pounds, he displays excellent size for the position. Saladino has excellent speed, and an excellent burst which allows him to reach the backfield and blow up run plays, and get sacks on the QB. His versatility makes him deadly on the defensive, as he can play multiple positions. He is mainly a run stuffer LB, who is the last person you want to see charging towards you.

Udeagha was part of a dominant Rye Squad who won the Class A state Championship last season, with a perfect undefeated season. Udeagha is a new name to the 2027 rankings, and slots in 398th, and 49th at the position. Standing at 5'10" 170-Pounds, he displays a slimmer size, that allows him to play across the field using versatility. I do want to see him add 10-15 Pounds of good weight to help fill out his frame. He is a quick athlete, who can make tackles across the field. He plays a high energy, that allows him to explode and disrupt plays. The Rye LB, will be a big part of a defending state championship team in 2026.

Last up on the list, is Long Island Playmaker [player_tooltip player_id='2070526' first='Tristan' last='Magro']. The Northport playmaker, made his first impression, at our winter showcase in December, where he was a top performer from the LB Position. Standing at 5'10" 200-Pounds, he displays an excellent frame for the LB Position. He found himself ranked highly in the 2027 update. Magro, is a speedy strong ATH, who can play on both sides of the ball, and displays a high IQ on the football field. Magro, shows good footwork, and moves well laterally, and allows him to make tackles, and fill gaps across the line, stopping the un game.
