He is an elite player for the East squad, and I like his ability to plug the second level and take down prospects before they pick up big gains. He has excellent anticipation and showcases a quick burst and good footwork allowing him to charge towards the RB on rush reps. As a Pass Coverage prospect he has solid skills and is excellent against bigger Tight Ends. His frame is on the slimmer side at 5’11” 180-Pounds, which he can improve for more bulk, but he shows excellent physicality as a DB at the POA. Cook-Tyson has yet to pick up an Offer, but with another impressive season I can see some rolling in for the talented prospect.

He has exceptional strength, and uses it at the POA, to make tackles and force fumbles. He is great in coverage, and can actually drop back as a Safety in Defensive Schemes, where he moves well, showing good footwork, and can stay with opposing playmakers.

For instance, the ability to stay active and move around to read the play was an evident portion. This is an SS that will come down and will play plenty of plays in the box. Even so, the ability to play sideline to sideline is present. Cook-Tyson will fly in and make diving tackles with strong pursuit. Henceforth on tape, the speed and lateral agility that he took on the pursuit angles of ball carriers was a big force.
