Mobley Jr plays RB for Pittsford. I like his outlook at the RB position, but I have also seen him at LB in a 7v7 setting, and there is some two-way ability here. Slightly undersized at the LB position, I would still lean towards RB. He shows good burst and some explosive cuts, as well as some wiggle in his lower half. I like the contact balance you see on tape as well. Several reps where Mobley Jr can pick up 3-5 extra yards as he is getting tackles by multiple guys. Mobley Jr can continue to get bigger, faster, and stronger, but this is very promising tape for a sophomore.

. that stands in at 5’9” and weighs 175-pounds. This is a football player that has playing experience at WR and DB but majority of the playing reps came at the RB position where Mobley Jr shined. Mobley Jr. has all types of moves in his rotation to get around defenders in open space. Between using physicality or quickness, this is a RB that did it all for Brighton’s offense. The ball-carrier vision to find a hole and hit into it was very evident on tape. Many times, Mobley Jr. was able to get into the second level of the defense with ease to pick up a huge gain. The ability to break off tackle attempts was present and Mobley Jr contact balance enhanced this ability. There was no hesitation, and an ability to fall forward if Mobley Jr. did get tackled by a defender. I was impressed by the quick feet and cutting ability in between tackle attempts that Mobley Jr. was able to display. Developing more breakaway speed will take this young man’s game to the next level.
