D1 DB's: Defensive Backs With D1 Offers

The State of New York is bursting with talented with players picking up offers and interests each day. At the Defensive Back Position, New York may have its strongest Athletes with multiple playmakers holding offers. In this article we look at one player each from the 2027, 2028, and 2029 class who holds offers and break down what makes them worthy of the D1 Attention. The Iona Prep DB is a unicorn, and can play across the field and impact the game in multiple areas. Standing at 6'1" 200-Pounds, he displays a good frame, and can even drop into a LB slot given his frame.   Sangaray is the 4th ranked player in the 2027 Class, and the top ranked DB in the state. He currently holds 11 D1 offers from schools across the country, and for good reason. On tape, the Iona Prep athlete, displays some outstanding athleticism, along with blazing speed, and a high IQ, which allows him to drop into coverage, and become a deadly rusher. I am impressed with his coverage, especially his stickiness as a Man DB, where he allows zero separation, and wreaks havoc on opposing receivers.   Sangaray will blow up during his Senior Season, and with outstanding DB skills, and amazing athleticism, and a good IQ, it is no question as to why he is ready for the D1 level, and a future star in College.     Next up is Class of 2028 DB [player_tooltip player_id='1248847' first='James' last='Brumfield II']. The Monroe DB, stands at 5'10" 160-Pounds, displaying a growing frame for the DB Position. The State Champion Sophomore ranks as the 37th Prospect in the State, and Third at the DB Position.   Brumfield II holds over 10 offers from D1 schools, including many P4 offers from schools like Oregon, and Penn State. Brumfield is outstanding on tape, and is a sticky coverage playmaker who as a Sophomore, brought playmakers to Brumfield Island each game. His movement is outstanding and his fluidity in his hips and footwork, shows on film. He is a ball hawk, who displays outstanding length, and can make plays on the ball, regardless of his position on the play.   Brumfield II is a national recruit, who has outstanding traits, and will become a future star at the D1 level, and with his skills, he is easily ready for the competition at that level.     Lastly is 2029 DB [player_tooltip player_id='2109178' first='Terrell' last='Moore']. The Rush-Henrietta Playmaker was a miss in the early 2029 rankings, who will find himself highly ranked in a May update. Standing at 5'11" 155-Pounds, the Section Five DB, displays a growing solid frame for the position.   Moore is a young athlete, who picked up his first offer from Akron this past week, and per my sources has multiple schools interested in him, and others waiting to offer the talented DB. Moore is an outstanding ball tracker, who displays an elite IQ, and ability to make plays on the ball. He showcases good vision, and is elite in Zone Coverage, displaying fluid hips, and outstanding footwork.   [player_tooltip player_id='2109178' first='Terrell' last='Moore'] Jr, is a young outstanding DB, who I easily can see ending as one of the top playmaker in the North East. After watching film, it is clear he is about to blow up and become a major priority for P4 Colleges. If I was a College Scout I would buy stock today.
