Big 2027s to follow in the Peach State

In the state of Georgia, there are a ton of talented 2027's that are looking to have big senior year campaigns. The off-season has been big so far for some of them and they will look to have big-time years in the 2026 season. Let's look!

[player_tooltip player_id='662615' first='Nigel' last='Newkirk'] is an outstanding running back in the 2027 class who is to me one of the more underrated backs although we at Prep Redzone has him ranked high, in other places when people are talking about backs, I believe Newkirk needs to be mentioned, no question. He is such a smooth runner and a very impressive runner. One thing about Newkirk is that he is a gamechanger and an impact player who is going to have a massive senior season!

[player_tooltip player_id='942018' first='Micah' last='Billingsley'] has been a super exciting player out of North Cobb in the 2027 class at the wide out position. Billingsley is a big threat at the wide out position. He is a guy who can get open in a hurry, and he is a dangerous player with the ball in his hands. He is going to have a monster senior season, so watch out!

[player_tooltip player_id='1544906' first='Joshua' last='Scott'] is a super exciting quarterback and athlete. He is a guy who has made special plays and is guy you can rely on to make a major play. He is going to have a big year in the 2026 season and in his senior year campaign. Young is going to have a terrific senior year campaign. He is a leader, strong thrower of the ball and a guy who is confident in what he can do. I really love what I have seen from him, and I expect him to have a big year in the 2026 Georgia High School football season!
