The Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase tour rolled through Oklahoma over the weekend and we saw some outstanding football throughout the event. Athletes from all over Oklahoma, and some of the surrounding states and beyond came to Broken Arrow to go up against top competition and be coached and evaluated from college coaches in this region. Throughout the next few days, we'll have a ton of prospect breakdowns on Prep Redzone and video content dropping on our YouTube Channel. We kick things off with a breakdown of the seven positional MVPs from Sunday's event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1205103' first='Javen' last='Crowley'] - 2028 Quarterback - Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1205103' first='Javen' last='Crowley'] edged out a few different quarterbacks to take home MVP honors from the signal caller position. Crowley was a name that we knew about coming into the Showcase after he had a breakout performance in our first Oklahoma tournament last spring. Looking back at our notes, we wrote about how Crowley was calm, cool and collected throughout the weekend. That was on full display throughout the Showcase on Sunday afternoon. Crowley showcased a variety of throws from start to finish. He routinely was putting the ball where only his wide receiver could make the play on it and it was rarely in danger of being picked off. Crowley also looks the part with a tall frame. He was already a 2028 quarterback on our radar but Sunday's performance was another solid showing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2108354' first='Max' last='Everett'] - 2028 Running Back - Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='2108354' first='Max' last='Everett'] ended up being the runaway pick for the running back position, literally. Everett wasn't the biggest running back in the group but that really didn't matter when it was time to go into 1 on 1's and Everett easily created separation from defender after defender. Everett is incredibly quick and the combination of speed and sudden movement made him nearly impossible to stay with for the linebacker group that tried defending the running backs. Everett also showcased the speed in the open field during testing. Everett is a perfect example of why we love doing these camps in Oklahoma. We get to see plenty of players that we already know about but then you have a player like Everett, that we didn't know much about and he shows up, dominates and now he's on our radar moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1680084' first='Makauri' last='Johnson'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Carl Albert

Carl Albert junior [player_tooltip player_id='1680084' first='Makauri' last='Johnson'] is a 2027 prospect that we first watched last spring. He has all the makings for being Carl Albert's next stud prospect. You started to see glimpses of it throughout their state championship season in 2025. In fact, he was playing really good football during their playoff run. Johnson then showed up at our showcase event on Sunday and was arguably the best prospect there from start to finish. Johnson tested incredibly well and then absolutely dominated during drills and the 1 on 1 session. We had a really strong group of wide receivers at the event but Johnson checked every single box. Carl Albert is obviously not a stranger to producing freak athletes at the skill positions. We firmly believe that Johnson is the next guy in line to be just that. Based on what we've seen on film and in person, Johnson is the real deal.

[player_tooltip player_id='1834818' first='Jake' last='Matthews'] - 2027 Offensive Lineman - Ada

Ada junior offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1834818' first='Jake' last='Matthews'] was one of the prospects that we were fired up the most to see on Sunday. Matthews was a new player on our radar last fall and his film really impressed us but we hadn't seen him in person. That changed on Sunday and he certainly lived up to the hype, taking home MVP honors for the OL group and this was a very tough battle with the top guys in the group. Offensive linemen aren't always in the best positions in these showcases during the 1 on 1 session. That was not the case for Matthews. It didn't matter if an opponent tried to bull rush him or try to get by him with speed. Matthews quick hand placement, wide base and overall strength made him an absolute pillar on the end of the offensive line. Our opinion of Matthews was high already and seeing him in person only elevated that.

[player_tooltip player_id='933579' first='Kaiden' last='Ford'] - 2027 Defensive Lineman - Fort Gibson

This was the third straight year that Fort Gibson junior defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='933579' first='Kaiden' last='Ford'] has come to our winter showcase series. It was the third straight year that he stood out as one of the top guys at his position and he ended up taking home MVP honors for the position group. We've said this pretty consistently over the last two years. Ford is a problem for opposing offensive linemen and that was on full display again Sunday. Ford is an undersized defensive tackle that has a deep bag of moves that the size doesn't even remotely come into play. We've seen Ford line up against bigger offensive linemen and time after time, Ford uses his unique blend of athleticism, burst and strength to overpower his opponent and get into the backfield. We've seen Ford three straight years now and he has gotten better each time we've seen him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1764862' first='Dylan' last='Souder'] - 2029 Linebacker - Breese Mater Dei (Illinois)

We talked about players from surrounding states performing well. We don't know what brought 2029 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1764862' first='Dylan' last='Souder'] down from Illinois but he made the most of his opportunity in Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon. Souder ended up taking home MVP honors from the linebacker position. Souder performed really well on Sunday afternoon and because of that, we looked more into his game. Our Prep Redzone Illinois writers mentioned Souder as one of the breakout freshmen from the 2025 season. They talked about his game and his ability to move downhill in a hurry and that's exactly what stood out to us on Sunday. Whether it was individual drills or the 1 on 1 sessions, we were really impressed with his ability to read and move quickly to meet the ball carrier. Souder was also one of two freshmen to earn MVP honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='2124146' first='Damontre' last='Butler'] - 2029 Defensive Back - Millwood

Millwood defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='2124146' first='Damontre' last='Butler'] was the other freshman that earned MVP honors for his position group on Sunday afternoon. Butler kicked things off by testing incredibly well. That caught our attention but that ended up being just the beginning for what was a really solid showing from Butler. We really liked the defensive back group that we had on Sunday and it was a deeper group than we've had in the past. So the fact that a freshman showed up and showed out on Sunday was very impressive. Butler had a complete performance from start to finish and did a great job of receiving coaching and coming back and performing better and better with each rep. We're looking forward to seeing more of Butler moving forward. Millwood went through a ton of growing pains in 2025 but they have a lot of young talent returning.
