He has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, lateral quickness, good change of direction, and speed. As a QB, he has good throw power and a quick release. Jiron has good ball placement skills and very good touch. He stays poised with the ball in his hands and doesn't put it in harm's way. Good progression speed. Jiron is an exciting linebacker as well. Using his good range and very good tackling, he a demanding presence on defense. Very good blitz take off speed with good block shedding. Keep an eye on him to continue improving his game. Yates has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, change of direction, lateral quickness, and balance. Demonstrates very good vision at both RB and kick returner. He weaves through the defensive with ease, making defenders miss with his smooth feet. Good ball tracking and catching. Shown to be a reliable target out of the backfield. Defensively, he has good read and reaction speed. Uses his very good range paired with relentless pursuit to consistently help teammates finish tackles. Good strength and good tackling.
