I could not find tape from his 2025 season, but he remains as one of our top ranked players and has already earned a <strong><a href="https://x.com/Am1rJoyner/status/2001696160273338659" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">D1 offer</a></strong> from Chicago State. Amir can stand up or put his hand in the dirt. If you don't account for him early, he'll dominate your backfield for all four quarters. In the passing game, he sheds blockers to disrupt the quarterback, and in the run game, he displays relentless energy by chasing down ball carriers from behind. He possesses a quick first step and quickly reads the offense. He can pass rush and defend the run, with good range down the line of scrimmage. Relentless pursuit and finishes every play. Good pass rusher with good use of hands and the ability to bend around Offensive Tackles while remaining balanced and not losing a step. Can hold his ground and shed blocks versus the run. I am impressed by what I see. Shows solid run defense with good pursuit. Not big enough to set the edge at his current size. I believe he is someone who can be used at Edge and Stacked-LB positions.
