Prep Redzone Next New Jersey Camp: Running Back Notebook, Pt. 2

In this feature from Prep Redzone Next's New Jersey Exposure Camp, I share my positional notes for the group aforementioned in this article's title. More coverage on different groups will be forthcoming in the days to follow, so be sure to check back later!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Running Back Notebook</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A prospect that I am unsure exactly how I feel about was [player_tooltip player_id='2073409' first='Abdul-' last='Azeem Carrington']. During indy I thought that he ran a bit too high and with poor bad level, also noting that I thought he might project out as a linebacker rather than a running back. Later on during competition, however, I thought that Carrington pulled off an execute stutter-to-powerful pressure cut move to explode past a linebacker. Later on took inside route leverage and absolutely destroying his matchup in the process... Another running back who hade outstanding cuts was [player_tooltip player_id='1476876' first='Malachi' last='Bredy']. Bredy, who was named a top performer at the event, made outstanding powerful cuts. He was constantly kicking up turf as if he was kicking up dust. With this much power in his movements, Bredy was cutting a rug and is sure to blow out his cleats at least once in his career.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Good looking cuts were a quality that [player_tooltip player_id='1627839' first='Jeyden' last='Thomas']. Thomas' cuts were quick, as if he floated and navigated as if he was speed racing down the slopes. More times than not he evaded danger and left defenders taking pursuit angles... [player_tooltip player_id='2043863' first='Ryder' last='Watson'] might have been a straight-up rider. Watson looked like he had more than just a little bounce in his step and was one of the lightest-looking, quickest movers in attendance.
