Five New Southwest Ohio Additions To the 2028 Part 2

All five have traits that I really like and make me bullish on their future. He finished third on the team with 90 tackles. Turner plays the game on a downhill plane. For a sophomore his read-and-react is solid and with more reps I expect him to trust his eyes and become even more attacking and downhill. In run defense, he does a good job of splitting and avoiding blockers. At 6'2 225 he also possesses the size and physicality to take on blockers and stuff the run. He profiles as a nose tackle at the next level. He anchors really well, especially against double teams, becoming an immovable force. He shows a good get-off at the snap. If he can work on getting stronger and more violent with his hands, that's going to open up a whole new level to his game. There's a ton to like about his film, starting with his twitchiness. His ability to be explosive and play downhill is next level. In pursuit, his long speed is on full display as he tracks down the ball and covers a ton of ground. Quite simply, Jenkins flourishes in space. He has an uncanny ability to juke and avoid blockers, come downhill, and make plays. I think Jenkins has the athletic ability to absolutely fly up the rankings. I could see him as a Top 100 player after the 2026 season. What I'm looking to see is continued physical development and production. I want to see him continue to get bigger and stronger while retaining his speed and explosiveness. From a production standpoint, I want to see more plays behind the line of scrimmage — especially sacks and, more notably, tackles for loss. Lyttle played both sides of the ball as a defensive lineman and tight end. For me he definitely projects to the defensive tackle position at the college level. On the inside of the line his length and flexibility will play up. He has active hands and shows the ability to bend and get skinny to decrease blocking area. There's one specific play that I saw where he showed a nice swim move to quickly beat an interior offensive lineman. Where he has a chance to grow his game is in his ability to be violent, explosive, and anchor at the point of attack. The ability to violent at the point of attack will help to unluck that athleticism. While he played cornerback for the Crusaders, I project him as a free safety at the college level. Paxton plays is really good in space and has great instincts as well as ball skills. His reads are strong and his breaks on the ball are really good. There are a couple of plays where he jumps routes to pick off balls, one of which he nearly returns for a Pick 6. Dodsworth's athleticism will play up at safety and he thrives when the play is in front of him with his strong reads. I'd be surprised if he didn't start to get D1 interest this offseason and be on schools radars this summer as the 2028 contact period begins.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
