February Check-in: Revisiting Alabama's Talented 2027 OL

We've got so many talented prospects in Alabama to cover that sometimes we miss out on some of the prospects making the most noise.   That's no excuse, of course! So, we're starting a new Monthly Check-In series to revisit some of the talented prospects across the state who haven't gotten as much coverage as of late.   Today, we're specifically zoning in on some of the DOMINANT OL in our 2027 class. You won't want to miss out on these guys, so be sure to watch their film below!    [player_tooltip player_id='1640014' first='Stafford' last='Willis'] is a dominant OT from Arab who's seen his recruitment blow up in the last few months and is due for a big rise in our rankings.   "Willis is a dominant run blocker who opens up wide rushing lanes at the line of scrimmage nearly every snap- he plays with great leverage, has a ton of power, and gets great push off the line of scrimmage, holding his own and driving back defenders in the trenches.   Willis is just as productive in pass protection- with his size, strength, and quickness, he matches up really well against DE/DTs and is terrific at mitigating pressure, consistently providing a clean pocket for his QB to work with every passing down."   In the last few weeks, Willis has added offers from Virginia Tech, Memphis, Tulane, and several others.   I hadn't watched Willis junior tape until he reached out to me earlier this week, and man, have I missed out. He's been incredibly productive throughout his career, but might be coming off his most impressive season yet. Be sure to check out some of his clips below, you'll come away impressed.      [player_tooltip player_id='1757079' first='Cord' last='Pigg'] is a mauler from Mars Hill who completely took over the line of scrimmage all of last season.   "Pigg is a mauler in the run game who consistently creates wide rushing lanes for his teammates to capitalize on. He explodes off the line, has a ton of strength, and plays with impressive leverage, driving defenders several yards off the line of scrimmage.   Pigg is also impressive in pass protection. He's quick on his feet and does a great job countering pass rushers to provide tons of time for his quarterback to work with, making him a really well-rounded piece of their offensive line."   Pigg has had a big month in the recruiting world, picking up offers from Memphis, Jacksonville State, and more.   If you haven't seen any of Pigg's film from last season, I highly recommend you check it out below. Mars Hill had one of the most exciting rushing attacks in the state last season, and Pigg was a large reason why. He has a huge season ahead this upcoming fall.      [player_tooltip player_id='366554' first='Darius' last='Whitlow'] is a dominant OG from Opelika who had a really impressive junior year last fall.   "At 6'3 315, Whitlow moves really well at his size- he's highly athletic and can make a ton of huge blocks on the move, consistently pulling across the line of scrimmage and working from level to level to open up massive rushing lanes for his RB.   On top of that, Whitlow is dominant in pass protection- he does a great job setting his feet and using his size, leverage, and strength to dominate defensive linemen at the line of scrimmage. Whitlow is constantly pancaking interior linemen, giving his QB plenty of time to decide what to do with the ball. I think what impressed me most was Whitlow's effort every snap- he's a physical OL who plays through the whistle every snap."   Whitlow has had a busy offseason, picking up offers from Troy and South Alabama! With his talent, this is just the beginning. I'm certain more schools will be calling his way soon.   In the meantime, be sure to watch some of his tape below- you won't want to miss out!      [player_tooltip player_id='1679342' first='Hudson' last='Ingalsbe'] is a really talented OL from White Plains we need to look out for more moving forward.   "Ingalsbe is a seriously impressive OT who helps create so many big plays on the ground. At 6'6 280, he has the size and athleticism to compete and win against defensive linemen in the trenches nearly every snap. He explodes off the ball, plays with great leverage, and is a physical run blocker who opens up huge lanes for his teammates.   I think I'm most impressed with Ingalsbe's effort. He plays extremely hard every snap and consistently drives back defenders several yards downfield until the whistle is blown. There's a lot to like with his tape; it's going to be exciting watching him this fall."   Ingalsbe has seen his recruitment surge in the last few weeks, listing new offers from UNC, Samford, Jacksonville State, and more!   Seriously, we're all going to have to watch out for Ingalsbe this upcoming year. He had a dominant junior season last fall and has picked up a bunch of much-deserved attention since. Be sure to take a look at his film below, you'll be impressed.      [player_tooltip player_id='1367461' first='Courtney' last='Maxwell'] is a dominant OL from Daphne who's coming off one of his best seasons yet as a starter.   "At 6'5 305, Maxwell does a great job using his size to his advantage, especially in pass pro. He's an anchor on the line of scrimmage and has the size, power, and leverage to completely shut down whoever comes off the edge, providing tons of time and a clean pocket for his QB on every passing down.   Maxwell is just as impressive in the run game- he moves really well, opens up huge lanes at the line of scrimmage, and works from level to level to pave the way for his teammates to make huge plays on the ground."   Maxwell has had a HUGE February, picking up offers from Arkansas State, South Alabama, and more!   I can't wait to watch Maxwell this upcoming season.
