Lacey was a ball hawk in the secondary, making numerous plays on the ball and a multitude of interceptions over the weekend. He has fast, twitchy feet that allow him to press receivers at the line and close on receivers at the top of their routes. Teams struggled to complete quick game and intermediate routes consistently because of his ability to break on the ball. This also contributed to Lacey creating turnovers in the redzone and at the goal line.

Byrde-Whiten proved that he can play on an island as he took the majority of his reps at corner during the tournament. The lengthy DB has a smooth back pedal that allows him to weave and match a wide receiver's stem. This leads to a smooth transition when flipping his hips as the receiver begins to push vertically. Byrde-Whiten is often in phase and naturally squeezes receivers' routes, either forcing them to the sideline or forcing the receiver to make difficult catches away from their body on inward-breaking routes.

Alexander displayed his versatility in the secondary, being interchangeable from corner to nickel and to safety throughout the games. He is physical with receivers, using his length to disrupt the timing of their routes. His length also helps him to play through the receivers' hands when the ball is in the air. Alexander's fluid back pedal and hips help him to pattern-match receivers and stay on top of their routes consistently.

Malone made it difficult for receivers all weekend, having the physicality and quickness to smother their release at the line of scrimmage and the speed to run with anybody downfield. He makes it hard for receivers to find their stride due to how effectively he uses his hands when in phase with the receiver. Malone also has great hips, showing that he can flip with the receiver without losing a step.

Louissaint was effective in coverage at safety, where he saw the majority of snaps. He is long and rangy, who can play the middle of the field or work off the hash. Louissaint does a great job reading the QB's eyes when he is the lone high safety and reading receivers' patterns from inside to out when playing on the hash. His ability to get on top of routes was on full display, as he was responsible for multiple pass breakups on passes down the field and picked off corner routes in the back of the endzone.
