The 12U group was loaded with young but talented offensive playmakers across the board, with many impressing us during both days of the Southern Brawl. We highlighted some in our Day One MVPs article, but there are several more deserving of attention after the event. Here are 17 more offensive top performers who made some nice plays this weekend!

Jett Chovanic was one of the more dynamic weapons in the 12U field all weekend for Legacy Black. He's got real burst off the line and has twitchiness in his movements that makes him tough to square up, especially on underneath concepts where timing and separation matter. Chovanic does a great job settling into soft spots, presenting a clean target, and then turning short completions into chunk plays. Once the ball is in his hands, he flips a switch and is sudden, explosive, and confident in space. He consistently made the first defender miss and showed the kind of short-area quickness that stresses a defense horizontally. In a 7v7 setting where space is everything, he was as dangerous as anyone after the catch.

CJ Hankerson gave CSRA Elite a reliable playmaker who could win in just about any situation. He's sudden off the line with a quick release that immediately puts defenders in recovery mode, and he understands how to lean on corners and manipulate leverage to create space. Out of his breaks, there's real pop, and he snaps routes off with urgency and accelerates back to the football. What stands out is how comfortable he is playing through traffic, as he'll secure the catch with contact closing in and still find a way to finish the play. Whether working underneath, stretching the intermediate windows, or getting vertical, Hankerson showed he can be a true three-level threat and a matchup problem every snap.

MJ Sanu showed that he understood the game well beyond his years. The fourth grader from Legacy Black worked the middle of the field with natural feel, consistently finding open windows and giving his quarterback a clean, dependable target. He shows good burst in and out of his breaks, with the kind of breaking speed that creates separation without wasted movement. There is real explosiveness in his game once he gathers the ball, and he accelerates quickly into space. As the son of former NFL wide receiver Mohamed Sanu, the pedigree is there, but what stands out most is how comfortable and instinctive he already looks operating in traffic and making himself available when the play needs him as a young player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105542' first='Cade' last='Tisdell'] gave Middle TN Elite Bombers a bigger target who knows how to use his frame. He already carries quality early size for this level, and it shows up when the ball is in the air. Tisdell consistently uses his length, extending with his long reach and attacking the football at its highest point rather than waiting for it. His hands are dependable, and he finishes through traffic. In a 7v7 setting where contested catches can swing a drive, he provided a steady presence and a reliable option on anything thrown his way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133956' first='Anthony' last='Firsching'] may not be the biggest receiver on the field, but he consistently found ways to impact the game for X3 Impact. He is a polished route runner who understands spacing and tempo, setting defenders up with subtle changes of speed and clean breaks. Once the ball is in his hands, he becomes tough to corral. Firsching is slippery in space, showing the ability to sidestep traffic and squeeze through tight lanes without losing momentum. His production after the catch stood out, turning routine completions into meaningful gains and keeping drives alive throughout the weekend.

Cam Johnson looks the part physically as a future dynamic weapon in high school. He has an athletic frame with quality size and uses it to his advantage on both sides of the ball for Up Next. At receiver, he is a true big-play threat who can flip the field in a hurry. He elevates with confidence, going up over defenders and finishing at the catch point with strong concentration. Even in traffic, his eyes stay locked in, and he secures the football. Johnson's blend of length, leaping ability, and body control makes him a matchup problem and one of the more intriguing two-way athletes in the 12U division.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133970' first='Mason' last='Fitzgerald'] brings intriguing upside to the tight end position for Middle TN Elite Bombers. He has good length and a developing frame that already projects well physically at this age. What stood out most was how comfortable he looked playing big without moving like a stiff, bigger body. Fitzgerald consistently found ways to get open, even as one of the larger athletes on the field, and he showed the ability to extend and catch over defenders when the ball was placed high. His hands are reliable, and he can finish through contact. There is clear long-term potential here as he continues to grow into his frame.

[player_tooltip player_id='2127526' first='Brooks' last='Hillman'] is not the biggest athlete on the Apex roster, but his play style demands attention. He is undersized, yet very quick, and he leans into that advantage with confidence. On defense, he attacked the football and played fearlessly in coverage, never backing down from bigger matchups. Offensively, he showed dependable hands and a clear feel for working underneath routes, giving his quarterback a steady outlet. Once the ball was in his hands, his quickness showed up again. Hillman competes well regardless of his current smaller frame.

Carter Kepple was a steady focal point in the CapEx passing attack all weekend. He brings quality size to the position, along with a long reach that naturally widens the quarterback's margin for error. Kepple proved he could win in multiple ways, stretching the field vertically and finishing down the boundary or down the seams, then turning around and moving the chains in short yardage situations. His combination of frame, catch radius, and situational production made him one of the more dependable targets in the 12U division.

Enzo Harvey brought juice to the Georgia Buckeyes offense every time he touched the ball. Working out of the slot and in the backfield, he showed a twitchy first step that immediately put defenders on their heels. He is a dynamic runner after the catch, capable of turning a short completion into a chunk gain with one sudden cut. What stands out most is his burst. Harvey accelerates quickly and reaches top speed in a hurry, making him a constant big-play threat in space.
