This list identifies the receiving duos that made a significant impact on their team's pass game in 2025. Defensive secondaries will have to account for the receiving tandems below. (Stats were pulled from MaxPreps)

Archer High School - [player_tooltip player_id='1158111' first='Cohl' last='Hendon'] ('27) and [player_tooltip player_id='950771' first='Robbie' last='Dunn'] ('28)

Combined Receptions: 101 / Combined Receiving Yards: 1,339 / Combined Receiving Touchdowns: 15

The Lawrenceville duo had an impressive 2025 campaign, both accounting for 500+ receiving yards and 7+ touchdowns. Although Dunn plays mostly in the slot and Hendon plays predominantly outside, both are fluid in formations and can play either inside or outside. Hendon can get vertical fast, but he does a great job of never stopping his feet and working back to the quarterback on curls and comebacks. Dunn excels at stemming and manipulating the safety's leverage from the slot, creating big plays on slot fades, corners, posts, and wheel routes. Although 2026 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1109172' first='Jordan' last='Do'] will be graduating, don't expect these two's production to drop as the Tigers' senior class accounted for 38% of the team's receptions. I foresee a large portion of those targets going to the rising senior and junior on the perimeter.

Pebblebrook High School - Tyree Carter ('28) and [player_tooltip player_id='2085113' first='Demitri' last='Griffin'] ('29)

Combined Receptions: 103 / Combined Receiving Yards: 1,365 / Combined Receiving Touchdowns: 11

This is a young tandem that could give defenses headaches next season. Both are bigger targets (Griffin 6'3 - Carter 5'11) that accumulated more than 600 receiving yards in 2026. Carter can change the game on offense, defense, or special teams. Offensively, he is dynamic as he can make contested catches over a defender downfield, and he can create explosive plays with yards after the catch at the line of scrimmage. Griffin stands out in the secondary as he towers over most corners at 6'3. He uses his big frame to box out defenders when the ball is in the air. These two will be fun to watch in a tough 7A region in 2026.

Newnan High School - [player_tooltip player_id='1658577' first='Jaylen' last='Britt'] ('27) and [player_tooltip player_id='1652985' first='John' last='Matthews'] ('28)

Combined Receptions: 136 / Combined Receiving Yards: 1,829 / Combined Receiving Touchdowns: 20

Britt and Matthews led this list with a combined 136 receptions, which accounted for 67% of the Cougars' receiving yards. 2027 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1544909' first='Brodie' last='Campbell'] found his two playmakers early and often throughout the 2025 season. Both are explosive and can take the top off of a defense as they are put in one-on-one situations often. Britt is electric on the perimeter, making defenders miss in space on jet sweeps and quick game. Matthews has no wasted movements in his release or route running, getting to his spot and catching the ball in stride and on time. With their senior quarterback returning and Newnan's 3rd leading receiver graduating in May, you can expect these two wideouts to get an even heavier workload in August.

Bleckley County High School - Octavious Tate ('27) and Kelvin Sneed Jr. ('27)

Combined Receptions: 69 / Combined Receiving Yards: 1,084 / Combined Receiving Touchdowns: 14

The rising senior wideouts from Cochran are likely to see an increase in their roles as well in 2026. Not only are the Royals' 3rd and 4th leading receivers from 2025 graduating this May, but Brody Flemming will be returning for his senior season under center as well. The 2027 receiver duo accounted for nearly half of Flemming's touchdown passes last season. What stands out most on film is that Tate and Sneed can flat-out run. They can take the top off and run right by the corner on the vertical, or they can catch a slant and split the safeties on their way to the endzone. On top of that, they make some incredible sideline catches when Flemming scrambles that would be good on Sundays.

Athens Academy - [player_tooltip player_id='580115' first='Keyon' last='Standifer'] ('27) and Grayson Stafford ('27)

Combined Receptions: 82 / Combined Receiving Yards: 2,040 / Combined Receiving Touchdowns: 29

Standifer and Stafford accounted for nearly 70% of the Spartans' receptions in 2025. Additionally, Standifer was the leader in receiving yards across all classifications in Georgia. These are two unique players, as they play everything. Both create explosive plays in the pass game, whether it's making an impressive catch on a long pass downfield or catching the ball in the flat and outrunning the defense. Both are brought into the backfield and handed the ball at running back, and both are responsible for huge returns on special teams. It will be exciting to see the highlights these two wideouts create in 2026.

Frederick Douglass High School - Zaylen Green ('27) and [player_tooltip player_id='2115864' first='Damarien' last='Parrott'] ('28)

Combined Receptions: 41 / Combined Receiving Yards: 597 / Combined Receiving Touchdowns: 6

The numbers may not pop off the screen when compared to other schools in this article, but the speed of this duo should keep defensive coordinators up at night. Green's 10.7s 100m is evident every time he touches the ball, housing a bubble for 73 yds in the first clip of his highlight. Although there are no official times posted for Parrot in track, he looks as though he may be a sub-11.0s runner on film. Their speed allows them to eat up cushion fast, both making catches down the field. Likewise, both can turn quick underneath routes into big gains with yards after the catch. Both play a significant role on defense as well.

Riverdale High School - William Cochran Jr. ('27) and Zay'Vielle Younger-Jones (28)

Combined Receptions: 42 / Combined Receiving Yards: 607 / Combined Receiving Touchdowns: 6

This is another duo where the numbers may not stand out compared to their counterparts, but just watch the film! They are making incredible contested catches over two defenders in the endzone, creating explosives off of hitches and slants, and they are even creating big plays in the run game off of perimeter runs. These two will create some noise in 4A, especially with last year's starter and rising junior quarterback Trenton Gurley.
