Hendon played alongside Juniors as the other major receiving threat on this team. He plays much bigger than listed and made an early TD catch, flashing some juice and action in his routes to separate. He showcased the ability to make plays at each level of the field and competed with the ball in his hands. Expect a breakout season for Hendon.
Another big-play wideout who plays bigger than his size, Hendon could be a go-to weapon for the South Gwinnett offense next year due to his natural speed, ball skills, and the ability to make a big reception down the field. He brings above-average explosiveness with a knack for sneaking past defensive backs down the field. As a junior for the Archer Tigers last year Hendon hauled in 33 passes for 518 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s one of the top returning receivers in the area bound for e terrific final season for the Comets this fall.
The 5’8 Archer WR can get vertical on you real quick. Explosive 1st step with good hands, Hendon has good field awareness and is an excellent route runner. We are familiar with Hendon from his time at the Prep Redzone Showcase last January. One to keep an eye on in todays game.
Outlook: Hendon is still emerging at the high school level. He saw some action last season at the varsity level and averaged close to 30 yards per catch on his 3 attempts. He should have a good off season and will be competing next Fall as a potential go-to option.
