2028 Rankings: Orange County New Additions (Part 1)

<p class="text-gray-700">Beck started the last seven games of the season for San Clemente and led the Tritons to a 6-1 record during that span and a CIF championship appearance. He threw for 1450 yards with 11 touchdowns.</p>   <p>He has a smooth delivery and is athletic enough to scramble for big yardage. Beck has good ball placement on the deep throws and is an anticipatory thrower who can throw guys open when they don't have a lot of separation. He has good timing on the shorter throws and hits guys right when they get out of their breaks. Beck is the son of former NFL quarterback John Beck and he has offers from BYU, Nevada and Colorado State.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/PrestonBeck28/status/1996009815236374882?s=20 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Clark was the second leading receiver for Santa Margarita last season with 384 yards on 27 catches with six touchdowns as a sophomore.</p>   <p>He filled in nicely when Santa Margarita's star USC committed receiver was out. Clark is a true deep threat who can create separation late in routes and make tough catches in traffic. On shorter routes, he has good instincts after the catch and can make plays. He can set up defensive backs by changing speeds during the route and changing directions quickly. Clark has an offer from Sacramento State and will be a top target for Santa Margarita next season. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/RyanClarkk16/status/1990291691086225695?s=20 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Dunn was the top edge rusher for Tesoro last season with 30 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a pass deflection.</p>   <p>He had a great showing at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January and held his own against high-level offensive linemen from top schools. Dunn does a nice job getting arm extension against offensive linemen and has good short-area quickness. He could be a little quicker off the ball but he has the quickness and speed to recover. Dunn can play 3-technique as well which may be a better fit for him at the college level if he adds some size.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/1Dame/status/2013825783307931920?s=20 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Hunter caught 29 passes for 409 yards with four touchdowns for Orange as a sophomore and had two interceptions with a forced fumble on defense.</p>   <p>He is speedy and it shows when he returns kicks and has the speed to stay in the hip pocket of receivers down the field. Hunter excels in man coverage and is physical at the point of attack without drawing flags. He times his deflections well and does a good job turning his head for the ball late in the route to avoid penalties. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/KingstonHunter_/status/1985439011335438586?s=20 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Trujillo earned Bravo League Player of the Year honors with 13 rushing touchdowns, two receiving touchdowns, 63 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a blocke field goal, a forced fumble and three interceptions. </p>   <p>As a linebacker, he reads plays quickly and has great closing speed to the ball. He's a very good blitzer and once he gets his hands on the runner, the play is over.
