2028 Rankings- New Lockdown DBs in Our Ranks

Parker who's making his debut as our #1 DB and #7 overall prospect in the class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>At 6'3 185, Craig-James has the size, speed, and instincts to dominate opposing run/pass games every snap. Craig-James is dominant in coverage, flying around the field and breaking on passes to create huge PBUs and INTs. When you combine that with how well he plays the run, it makes him incredibly tough for offenses to deal with. He's not shy with contact, and routinely flies downhill to make tackles near the line of scrimmage.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I'm really excited to see Craig-James this next season. Niles is seriously impressive in coverage. He's quick on his feet, isn't easily baited, and has the speed and physicality to match up well against any WR type. Once the ball is thrown his way, good luck. Niles is phenomenal at getting his hands on the ball and constantly racks up PBUs and INTs.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>On top of his skills in coverage, Niles is a reliable tackler who defends the run at a high level. He's quick to get downhill, doesn't shy away from hits, and wraps up well, not allowing any extra yardage after initial contact. He's quick on his feet, has impressive sideline-to-sideline speed, and dominant ball skills/hands he uses to consistently break up and pick off passes.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Dare I say it, Randall might be one of the best coverage defenders in the state. He's a ball hawk who has terrific instincts and impressive closing speed that he uses to stay with any pass catcher he lines up against. Lacey is excellent at using his eyes to track the ball and frequently prevented big plays downfield all last season.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>On top of that, Lacey is a reliable tackler on special teams who helped create a ton of big plays on opposing punts/kickoffs this past season. He's a really well-rounded player with the best in front of him. He doesn't let anyone beat him 1 on 1, especially when the ball is thrown.
