2028 CA Rankings Update: San Diego’s WL to Ranked

He's a mobile passer that excels at evading the rush and creating off-script with his speed and natural arm talent. He's a dangerous runner with the ball in his hands that can make defenders miss in space, possesses the velocity to rip into tight windows, and can vary his arm angles to get the ball out clean. Holds good length to his 6'4"/265 frame with seemingly room to grow and add mass/strength as he continues to develop. The 6'1"/180 QB out of San Diego HS passed for over 2,100 yards and 17 TDs and rushed for another 3 TDs last season. He's an accurate distributor from the pocket that gets the ball out on time, hits receivers in stride, and possesses the arm strength to challenge the secondary over the top. He'll need to cut down on the turnovers (13 INTs last season) but his natural ability as a passer offers strong upside. He deploys good footwork, agility, and vision finding running room in narrow spaces around the LOS.
