Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Harris completed 58 percent of his passes for 2167 yards with 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He also ran for three touchdowns.
He has plus arm strength and nice touch on the deep balls over the top. Harris gets the ball out on time and is an anticipatory passer who can throw guys open. He needs to improve his decision making a bit but the game will continue to slow down for him with more experience.

Harris continued to build off his breakout freshman season with a strong sophomore campaign in 2025. The 6’1″/180 QB out of San Diego HS passed for over 2,100 yards and 17 TDs and rushed for another 3 TDs last season. He’s an accurate distributor from the pocket that gets the ball out on time, hits receivers in stride, and possesses the arm strength to challenge the secondary over the top. He’ll need to cut down on the turnovers (13 INTs last season) but his natural ability as a passer offers strong upside. Harris is a rising young QB to keep an eye on.

Harris was one of the top freshmen passers in the state last season with 1633 yards and 14 touchdowns.
He is a good athlete who throws well outside the pocket and keeps his eyes on the secondary while under pressure. Harris makes quick decisions with the ball and has nice touch on the deeper throws. His release is a little low but it’s quick and the ball always gets out on time.
