This year he had 1,496 all purpose yards and 17 touchdowns while completing 62% of his passes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1940899' first='Ben' last='Peterson'] (Geneva)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Peterson goes 6'4” 200 pounds that has nice size and strength.&nbsp; Excellent touch on the deep ball along with pushing deep slants over the middle of the feel.&nbsp; Creativity being able to use his legs to extend plays, but is very comfortable as a drop back passer reading defenses and hitting his open man as well.&nbsp; Crisp with his mechanics and footwork in the pocket.&nbsp; As a junior he had 1963 total yards along with 25 total touchdowns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='475585' first='Nate' last='Lang'] (IC Catholic)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lang was one of those QBs who every week we looked up and his name was up there with high production!&nbsp; He finished the year out throwing for 2,431 yards on a 70% completion rate along with 28 touchdowns and just four picks.&nbsp; Also ran for 550 yards and a pair of scores.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2105036' first='Drew' last='Kleinhans'] (Oswego)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kleinhans is a winner as he helped his team get to the 8A state championship game.&nbsp; Can use his legs to get a 1<sup>st</sup> down.&nbsp; Throws well on the move and the 6'1” 200 pound signal caller can push it downfield.&nbsp; As a junior he had 1,900 passing yards and 18 scores in the air.&nbsp; Also rushed for 260 yards and 3 touchdowns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2060071' first='Braeden' last='Novak'] (Riverside Brookfield)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Novak played in an offense where they didn't ask the 5'11” signal caller to throw a ton, but when they did he was productive.&nbsp; He was 106/169 for 62% completion percentage and 1,741 yards and 23 touchdowns with just 3 interceptions.&nbsp; Also racked up 204 yards and two scores via the ground.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2071897' first='Cam' last='Brinkman'] (Sacred Heart Griffin)<br></strong><br>Brinkman is a ranked hooper that can now say the same on the football side as well.&nbsp; The quarterback brings nice mobility moving to extend plays and can scramble for yards and scores when holes open.&nbsp; Quick release with good accuracy.&nbsp; Puts nice touch on the deep ball.&nbsp; Lets it rip on in breaking slant routes.&nbsp; This year at SHG he ripped off 2,453 pass yards at a 64% rate.&nbsp; Also showcased the athleticism with 909 rushing yards totaling 41 touchdowns (24 pass &amp; 17 run).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1187171' first='Nigel' last='Gooden'] (Cahokia)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'2” junior quarterback is a fluid athlete with good arm strength down the field.&nbsp; Passes extremely well on the move and can also take it down and run on his own when needed.&nbsp; Moves well in the pocket and throws it super well over the middle deep. &nbsp;At Cahokia he threw for 2,079 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions.&nbsp; Also ran for 468 yards and three touchdowns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
