2029 Rankings: Top ATHLETES

Can line up at both running back and wide receiver on offense along with as a defensive back on the other side of the ball.  Like the speed being able to break away from the pack as a running back.  Likes to go east/west then go vertical on the perimeter.  Good athlete that can change direction on a dime breaking it to the house.  Burst with the ball in his hands.  Kind of guy you just want to get the ball to so he can do damage.  As a defensive back he displays good instincts making plays on the ball including interceptions on the back end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1719351"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-69e448d89e648"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Evans goes 6'1" and 205 pounds on the edge for Wheaton St. Francis.  One amazing play to open his tape he rips the ball from the back at the one yard line then runs it in for a 99 yard TD.  Physical tackler in space that brings the boom.  As a running back he is strong and decisive as a rusher.  Super tough to bring down with his slashing style and powerful running as defenders have a tough time bringing him down.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["2174788"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-69e448d89e6c6"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Glenbard North 5'8" 150 pound two-way star had 1200 yards and 11 touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball.  The running back has elite speed and is an electric athlete in space.  Can also be a receiving threat out of the slot.  Quickness in the hole and has major juice with the rock in his hands.  Defensively he racked up 25 tackles and 5 interceptions.  On that side of the ball he is a defensive back with good feel for making plays on the ball at corner.  High points interceptions in the air. High points the ball and wins in jump ball situations.  Long strides winning on vertical routes and having a big catch radius. Physical blocker downfield for his teammates using good form. Also plays defensive back where he showed he could use those same ball skills including winning a jump ball for a pick 6.  He fights off blocks with ease and runs well out of his area to make tackles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
