<p><strong>Per usual rankings are based on who projects highest at the collegiate level. You can be an outstanding HS athlete and not project to high level of collegiate ball. Have a look at the Oregon Top 100 for 2028 as we break down #51-100 on the offensive side of the ball. This list was put together in collaboration with Andrew Nemec.</strong></p>

<p><strong>*PLEASE NOTE: 40+ athletes were added to the 2028 rankings board so multiple individuals will drop numerous spots for that reason alone. </strong></p>

<p>Offensively, [player_tooltip player_id='2105970' first='Jayden' last='Wallace'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1768304' first='Jace' last='Brown'] both return at RB for Sherwood after combining for 655 yards and 9 TDs. They will look to fill the void left with unanimous 1st team all-conference RB and Defensive POY [player_tooltip player_id='2071013' first='Jack' last='Wilson'] graduating. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Southern Oregon has a group of standout skill kids returning as well, highlighted by 6-5 Ashland WR [player_tooltip player_id='2109159' first='David' last='Carter'] who not a lot of people know about yet. He had an impressive stat line as a sophomore catching 32 passes for 820 yards and 10 TDs. His QB [player_tooltip player_id='2109153' first='Colton' last='Hernandez'] did a good job distributing the ball, passing for 2,074 yards and 23 TDs/8 INTs.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054815' first='James' last='Traylor'] of Grants Pass earned second team all-conference honors at WR, with RB [player_tooltip player_id='2101289' first='Cody' last='Hall'] stepping up big for Sheldon and totaling 710 yards on 108 touches to go with 3 TDs. [player_tooltip player_id='1760618' first='Carter' last='Nguyen'] of Sprague is another super talented undersized athlete to watch. Just like Hall, he was an honorable mention all-conference selection, catching 29 passes for 261 yards and 2 touchdowns. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Century HS went (3-6) this past year but have a legit duo returning for the next two seasons. [player_tooltip player_id='1675180' first='Ryder' last='Owens'] was a 2nd team all-league guy at WR & Kick-Returner catching 35 balls for 602 yards and 5 TD's. [player_tooltip player_id='1680318' first='Julian' last='Morales'] was another 2nd team all-Pacific selection on D while going for 465 total yards and 6 touchdowns from his RB spot. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>At QB [player_tooltip player_id='2105976' first='Jaxson' last='James'] comes from a well-known football family with D1 genes. He was a 2nd team all-league pick out of Liberty. [player_tooltip player_id='1161283' first='Madden' last='Hughes'] of Stayton was another quarterback worth mentioning. He earned 2nd team all-league honors as well, helping his team rank among the top 4A programs in the state, while totaling 1,147 yards and 18 TD's (11 passing, 7 rushing) & 4 INTs. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Look for [player_tooltip player_id='2105973' first='Jalen' last='Crichton'] out of Nelson to be one of the Mt Hood's breakout athletes next season. The 6-0-foot safety was an honorable mention all-conference return man and can do a lot of different things on the field. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Jefferson struggled as a team going (2-7) in the PIL, but [player_tooltip player_id='1921696' first='Antayus' last='Wilkins'] was one of the top underclassmen in the conference, totaling 735 rushing yards and 6 TDs. He is one to watch for this off season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Others WR/ATH's include [player_tooltip player_id='2106056' first='Gabe' last='Dietmeyer'] of Marist who was one of the only sophomores at the 4A level to earn all-state honors, and 6-2 standout [player_tooltip player_id='1611539' first='Kyle' last='Benson'] of West Linn who will be a name you hear often in the years ahead. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>In closing there were a few noteworthy O lineman who had breakout seasons, led by the likes of [player_tooltip player_id='1872815' first='Kaleb' last='Batiste'] of Barlow and 3A state champ [player_tooltip player_id='2106057' first='Blake' last='Patereau'] of Cascade Christian. Batiste was a 2nd team all Mt Hood selection and the baseball standout Patereau earned 1st team all-league and 2nd team all-state accolades as a sophomore. I would expect 6-3 275-pound Tigard lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1635865' first='Lucas' last='Wetzel'] to be one of the better big men in the TRL coming up as well. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1752104' first='Wyatt' last='Rose'] of Lakeridge and [player_tooltip player_id='2105975' first='Jayden' last='Ceaser'] of Clackamas are two other interior lineman who earned all conference honors on the O line as sophomores. Rose played varsity ball as a freshman and had a good 2025 campaign with Ceaser leading up front at Center/Nose Guard. </p>
