The month of February was a busy one in the Northwest at Prep Redzone, as we released new rankings, covered camps, highlighted some of the region's top risers and ranked the top 5A/6A programs in the state.

That's enough content to miss something significant along the way, so I've compiled the biggest stories in one place.

Here's a look at the top stories of the month:

- Class of 2029: Oregon rankings (1-20)

- Class of 2029: Oregon rankings (21-45)

- Class of 2029: Oregon rankings (honorable mention)

West Linn's [player_tooltip player_id='1705963' first='Ronan' last='Crawford'] leads the pack in the early 2029 rankings.

With NFL genes a projectable frame for either side of the ball, Crawford has the early markers for a future Power 4 conference prospect.

The Lions also boast running back/athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1558034' first='Zane' last='Zellick'], athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1705976' first='Anthony' last='Buttson'], two-way lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1705967' first='Dayn' last='Ree'], cornerback/athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1705965' first='Dylan' last='Baltz'], quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1705970' first='Quinn' last='Baker'] and others.

In other words, it's unlikely West Linn's reign in the upper half of the top 10 is coming to an end any time soon.

At No. 2 in those rankings is Silverton offensive lineman Cade Eillis, nicknamed "Shrek."

He's already 6-foot-7, 285 pounds and has a Division I frame.

Tualatin's record-setting running back [player_tooltip player_id='2079648' first='Easton' last='Grubb'] comes in at No. 3.

He broke the school record for freshman touchdowns with 41 and added 3,100 all-purpose yards.

Willamette running back [player_tooltip player_id='2127746' first='Jonny' last='Jenkins'] and linebacker/athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1732245' first='Zaire' last='McCrae'] look poised to continue the recent rise of that newly-minted 6A contender, as both have the upside of all-state players and tone-setters.

- Northwest football prospects: All-Risers Team (Offense)

- Northwest football prospects: All-Risers Team (Defense)

With new offers, camps and 7-on-7 events ramping up, many players in the Northwest have improved their stock.

In the state of Oregon, 2029 Nelson quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1564852' first='Landon' last='Benner'] has been exceptional, while 2027 Mountainside running back [player_tooltip player_id='1125493' first='Reece' last='Ballew'] has returned to full health and is beginning to look like every bit the promising back he displayed as a sophomore.

Class of 2027 Nelson wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='937176' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'] experienced his true breakout last fall, but continues to pile up offers this winter and is beginning to hear from both Big Ten and SEC programs.

His stock could climb another level by the start of the summer.

Central Catholic tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1242768' first='George' last='VanSandt'] has gone from relative unknown to multi-offer FBS prospect.

He is one of the biggest risers of any player in the Northwest over the past few months.

Along the offensive line, Willamette's [player_tooltip player_id='937281' first='Tripp' last='Johansen'] and Banks' Cade Wilson have shot up boards and are starting to stack some offers.

On the defensive side of the ball, Lake Oswego defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='1246545' first='Josh' last='Christensen'] has set up Big Ten official visits.

For a player who entered last fall as a camp standout with lots of promise, his rise has been something to watch.

Dallas linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1878396' first='Aidan' last='Galusha'] has won LB MVP at two camps since the start of the new year, run a sub-4.5 40 and is setting school records in the weight room.

He could very well be the next Oregon prospect to land Division I offer No. 1.

Of course, Willamette's [player_tooltip player_id='791149' first='Kawai' last='Chamberlin'] remains the hottest prospect in the state on the defensive side of the ball.

He's a double-digit offer guy and is one of the best linebackers on the entire West Coast.

- Oregon's "way-too-early" 6A top 15

- Oregon's "way-too-early" 5A top 10

At the 6A level, it could be an intriguing 1-2 battle at the top next season.

While West Linn returns a loaded roster that lost in the semifinals last fall after being truly decimated by injuries, Tualatin is a program on the rise, led by a trio of the state's best running backs - [player_tooltip player_id='1609595' first='Iden' last='Rule'], [player_tooltip player_id='937241' first='Cole' last='Hachmeister'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2079648' first='Easton' last='Grubb'].

Of course, Lake Oswego, Nelson, Central Catholic and Willamette should also be heavily involved in any "state championship chatter," as all four programs are loaded with big-time talent and histories - both long and recent - of state playoff success.

At the 5A level, reigning state champion Silverton looks like a program that could win a couple of titles in the next few years, as the roster was loaded with young stars like [player_tooltip player_id='2105987' first='Mark' last='Bailey'], [player_tooltip player_id='937036' first='Lincoln' last='Teeney'], [player_tooltip player_id='2067919' first='Luke' last='Horner'] and others.

They are followed by Wilsonville, Mountain View and Summit.

- Northwest Showcase: MVPs and standouts (offense)
