A smaller back who can really, really run, Wyngaard knows how to change directions, make defenders miss, and out-run defenders down the field. He shows good vision, agility, and while he may not blow anyone away physically, he knows how to play the position and get the absolute most out of every carry. The small-town back in Jasper ran for exactly 1,000 yards on the season with 11 touchdowns on the ground. He averaged an outstanding 8.9 yards per carry and will be an easy addition to the 2027 Prep Redzone rankings. Look for him to have a dominant senior season in 2026.

Another North Georgia back flying under the radar, Chadwick is a big athlete who can run, jump, and fight off blocks as well as any back in the area. He runs hard, he's tough to tackle up high, and can find his balance when being tripped up. He's a consistent chain-mover who really shined as a junior for a Calhoun program looking to get back to championship form. At 6-foot-2 190-pounds, Chadwick will brings more toughness and physicality to the Calhoun offense as a senior next fall. In 2025, Chadwick ran for just over 1,000 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 9.3 yards per carry along the way.

Another powerful back up in the North Georgia mountains, Rich is a strong, physically gifted back who breaks tackles with ease at 5-foot-11 200-pounds. He runs hard behind his pads and consistently wear down a defense as the game goes along. He also brings above-average speed for someone his size along with the ability to help in the return game on special teams. One of the region's more productive running backs last season, Rich is coming off a dependable junior season where he ran for 950 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground. He averaged 102 yards per game and will see a new ranking come his way in the next Prep Redzone update.

An explosive North Georgia running back who also ran wild during the 2025 season, Lindo was a big weapon for the Rabun-Gap offense and saw plenty of holes open up for him throughout his junior season. His shifty running style, natural speed, and impressive vision allowed him to score from anywhere on the field. He brings good size at 5-foot-10 195-pounds and was very reliable last season for the Eagles, rushing for 891 yards and 13 touchdowns. He averaged an impressive 8.7 yards per carry and could see plenty of D1 interest and offers come his way soon. He'll also see a big bump in the next 2027 rankings update.

A South Georgia back with plenty of acceleration and breakaway speed, Brown may not be the biggest back, but he's a fearless runner who can get yards in the trenches while giving the Crisp County offense a explosive threat out of the backfield. The Cordele native ran for an impressive 758 yards last season as a junior with 12 touchdowns. He averaged a really strong 7.9 yards per carry and went over the 100-yard mark twice. Brown has a chance to see more carries come his way in 2026 as a senior.
