Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
One of the more underrated running backs across Middle Georgia, this Cordele native is fresh off a really productive junior season where he led Cris County in rushing. A slippery, shifty runner who can score on any particular carry, Brown is one of the top rushers in the area who took off for 758 yards last season with 12 touchdowns. A dependable, big-play machine, Brown averaged an impressive 7.9 yards per carry while also providing help as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. Brown should see a bump in the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.

A South Georgia back with plenty of acceleration and breakaway speed, Brown may not be the biggest back, but he’s a fearless runner who can get yards in the trenches while giving the Crisp County offense a explosive threat out of the backfield. The Cordele native ran for an impressive 758 yards last season as a junior with 12 touchdowns. He averaged a really strong 7.9 yards per carry and went over the 100-yard mark twice. Brown has a chance to see more carries come his way in 2026 as a senior.

Brown is very quick and has shown his ability to cut with full speed behind him. He has plenty of lower-body strength and solid balance. He has shown his capability of breaking down low and accelerating out of the cut. He isn’t the biggest guy, so by nature, he is an elusive back who has true potential running routes in the slot or out of the backfield. He is dangerous, and he is one of the better players in the southern part of Georgia. He also has plenty of exciting traits that are improving. You have to imagine he will have an electric 2026.
