VanHoesen is an exciting young QB on the Colorado scene. Freshmen quarterbacks rarely impress me, but he left a strong statement with his film. He measures in at 5'8 160-pounds. Last season, he went 54/118 for 819 yards, 45.8% completion rate, 8 TDs, 4 INT. He has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, balance, good change of direction, and speed. Very good throw power with a quick release. VanHoesen has a very good anticipation on his throws, throwing before the receiver is even open. Good throw on the run, both left and right. He has good progression speed with good pocket presence. Very good under pressure. He's fearless. Defenders will be in his face, and he'll still make the completion downfield. If no one's open, he'll use his very good scramble ability and run for a first down. Kid has potential to a be a stud, and he has a bright future ahead of him.

Gerbers measures in at 6'0 190-pounds and led all freshman in tackles. This past season, he had 99 total tackles (27 solo, 72 assisted), 16 TFL, 1 sack, and 2 QB pressures. Gerbers has very good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, acceleration, change of direction, good speed, and jumping. Gerbers has very good read and reaction speed. He consistently puts himself in a position to help his teammates finish tackles or make the big play himself. Gerbers is a stout run stopper. Great blitzer with very good blitz take off speed. Very good block shedding and get off speed. Very good tackling paired with good strength. I'm very excited to see how Gerbers attacks this off-season.

Vasquez currently leads all 2029 in sacks. The 5'6 225-pound DT had 64 total tackles (11 solo, 53 assisted), 17 TFL, 5 sacks, 8 QB pressures, 1 FF, and 3 FR. Vasquez has good athletic ability due to good lateral quickness, good acceleration, speed, and balance. Very good initial quickness out of his stance. Due to his size, he's able to get a low pad level and underneath the OL. Very good get off speed and block shedding. Vasquez has good strength, hand strength, and very good hand placement. He's a strong tackler, living in the backfield creating mismatches for his defense. Keep an eye on this freshman.

Manzanare is another exciting prospect for The Pinnacle. Manzanare has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, good change of direction, and jumping. As a receiver, he has good release at the line of scrimmage. Very good separation quickness due to his athletic ability. He consistently outruns the defender or finds an open zone to exploit. Good catching and very good ball tracking skills. Defensively, he has good read and reaction speed. He has very good range and consistently helps his teammates finish tackles. He'll go from the box to the deep zone. He uses his ball tracking skills to consistently get pass breakups. Great young two-way player to watch.

Hemmerling measures in at 5'7 120-pounds. He had 64 carries for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns through 5 games. He has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, change of direction, and balance. Explosive quick start and uses his good vision to find a route through the defense. Good inside and outside running. He isn't afraid of putting his shoulder drive to truck through the defender. He thrives with contact. Hemmerling is currently averaging 4.7 yards per carry. When he's given the ball, he'll consistently get yards. I'm excited to see how the rest of his high school career continues.
