He has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, change of direction, and balance. Explosive quick start and uses his good vision to find a route through the defense. Good inside and outside running. He isn’t afraid of putting his shoulder drive to truck through the defender. He thrives with contact. Hemmerling is currently averaging 4.7 yards per carry. When he’s given the ball, he’ll consistently get yards. I’m excited to see how the rest of his high school career continues.
