2029 Summer Standouts Flying Under the Radar

Hemmerling is an exciting back for Del Norte. He is a two-sport athlete playing varsity football and track. Last season, he had 64 carries for 300 yards with 4 touchdowns including 2 receptions for 15 yards. He has good athletic ability due to very good balance, good speed, change of direction, and acceleration. Hemmerling uses his good vision to pick the open gap to run through. Picks, slides, and accelerates with ease. Uses his very good inside running to attack defenses and follow his OL in short yardage situations. Hemmerling does a great job gaining yards after contact with his contact balance. Sheds tackles or bounces off DB while also dragging defenders for the extra yardage. Solid ball tracking and catching out of the backfield. In limited action, he showed promise. Hemmerling is looking to capitalize off a productive off-season and take the state by storm.     Bryson measures in at 5'10 150-pounds and is a rising weapon for Northfield. He has good athletic ability due to his very good jumping, good speed, change of direction, and good acceleration. Bryson displays good release against the press jam. Uses his physicality to fight off the jam and get open. Good separation quickness. Bryson uses his speed and athleticism to create space, or will come back to his QB during the scramble drill. Very good ball adjustment and body control. Plucks the ball out of the air with his very good ball tracking and catching. Strong hands to hold onto the ball while getting hit. Does a great job controlling his body in midair and staying in bounds. Thrives at contested catches too. Propels himself over the defensive back to make the catch. Bryson does a good job getting YAC with his elusiveness and making defenders miss in open space. Watch out for a big season for Bryson!     Andazola measures in at 5'8 133-pounds playing DB/OLB for Kennedy. He had 41 total tackles (21 solo, 20 assisted), 4 TFL, 4 PD, 2 FF, and 2 FR. Andazola has good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, good acceleration, speed, and balance. Displays good read and reaction speed. He's consistently putting himself in position to attack the football. Good sideline to sideline range with strong tackling ability. Uses his strength and smarts to strip the football from the ball carrier creating the fumble. Great awareness to pick up said fumble afterwards. Andazola has very good competitive toughness, consistently playing with something to prove. Good zone coverage skills too. I'm excited to see how he continues to grow in Kennedy's defense!     Grim is a rising WR/DB for Roosevelt. Measures in at 5'11 155-pounds. He displays good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good jumping, and speed. Grim is physical at the LOS jamming the WR, disrupting their technique. Good hip fluidity and a controlled back pedal to match receivers breaking out into their route. Grim uses his athleticism to stay stride for stride with the receiver. Demonstrates very good man with good zone coverage. Very good closing quickness and good timing to create pass breakups. Grim isn't afraid of tackling as well. Gets low and will help create plays against the run. An intriguing developmental 2029 player that will continue to get better!     Juarez measures in at 5'9 150-pounds and is a punter for Greeley West. At the varsity level, he had 29 punts for 1101 yards, getting it inside the 20, 8 times, averaging 38 yards per punt, with his longest being 77 yards. Juarez does a good job of flipping the field and putting his defense in a great position. Uses his very good leg strength to explode into the ball and launch it downfield. Good leg control and accuracy. Juarez does a great timing up with his long snapper and holder. Uses his consistent kicking motion and timing to create a smooth execution of the punt. Not afraid to tackle as well if a returner gets near him. It's already impressive to start on varsity as a freshman, regardless of the position. I'm excited to see more growth from Juarez.
