Rising Playmakers New To The 2027 Indiana Class Rankings

The 2027 class is loaded and the class rankings are as deep and in depth as any class has ever been. Today, we're highlighting a group of new playmakers who have earned their spots on the board.    Bellman is a patient runner who allows his blocks to set up. He's got good footwork downhill and stays disciplined at the mesh point. He's got experience in a singleback formation and can come downhill. He's got fantastic balance and can withstand some hits. He runs with good pad level and is hard to knock off his spot. He rushed for 1589 rushing yards and 13 TDs in year 3 as he took hold of the starting job.     Irby is a dynamic athlete who makes plays all over the field. He carries it, catches it, and can return it on special teams. He's got good length and is just natural on the field. He's smooth and doesn't look stiff. When carrying the ball, he's got good vision and gets north and south in a flash. He averaged 7 yards per carry this past season. He's a good receiver downfield and can stretch the defense. He had over 1000 scrimmage yards this past year. 348 rushing yards and 4 TDs with 729 yards and 5 TDs through the air.     Gage is a shifty receiver who can do a lot with the ball in his hands. He's good in the screen game and can make guys miss in a phone booth. He's good in the short area off the line and can create separation. He's got good vision, which helps him find lanes. He's good when going in motion and can keep a defense honest. He's talented, knows his skillset, and is in a good situation for it.     Amor is a speedy receiver who helps stretch the field. He's good down the field and has good ballskills to track the ball full speed over his shoulder. He's strong through contact and plays longer than his 5'11" listed frame. He's a willing blocker in the running game and takes pride dominating his DB. He's also got some defense experience, but I like him with the ball in his hands best. Whether it's returning kicks or in the receiving game, he makes plays. 561 receiving yards and 8 TDs as a junior showed that speed and ability to stretch the field.     Venard is an incredilby reliable receiver with good twitch, willing to play physical, and will go over the middle in traffic without hesitation. I like his confidence on the field and how fearless he seems to be. He's able to make good hard-cuts and create space at the top of his routes. He's got some wasted movement, but as he cleans that up it'll only make him more dangerous in the route tree. He's got good hands and won't make a bad drop. With 36 grabs for 442 yards and 2 TDs as a junior, he showed his upside.
