Recruiting Report (1/15)- Latest Offers Around the State

We're back with a new Recruiting Report!   Today, we're diving into some of the recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have been on fire this week, so we're diving into all the latest surrounding their recruitment.   As always, make sure you watch their film below! You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent.    [player_tooltip player_id='1354216' first='Kingston' last='Preyear'] is a talented sophomore QB from Benjamin Russell who has seen his recruitment take off even more in the past week.   “Preyear has unreal arm talent and can place the ball anywhere on the field- he has a strong arm, can throw with a lot of touch and accuracy, and hits his targets perfectly in stride downfield. Preyear is also terrific at navigating the pocket- he's elusive and doesn't let pressure get to him, can extend plays and make throws on the run, and is great at avoiding sacks.   Another impressive part of Preyear's game is his mobility- he can create huge plays with his legs. On tape, he frequently carved up defenses for big gains off of zone reads and just by scrambling, he's a seriously dynamic QB who can truly beat you in every way.“   Preyear had a fantastic season, leading Benjamin Russell to a 12-2 record and recording 3,127 passing yards, 564 rushing yards, and 31 TDs on the year.   With how productive he's been in his first two years, Preyear has already established himself as a P4 prospect. In the last week, he has received offers from Arizona and Florida, and with his talent, I won't be surprised if we see him pick up more soon.      [player_tooltip player_id='1653623' first='Jaylen' last='Scott'] is a talented safety from Williamson who's seen his recruitment soar over the last couple of days.   "Scott is a hybrid safety who flies around the field to dominate opposing rushing and passing attacks. He plays with a ton of speed and instincts out in coverage- he isn't easily baited, doesn't let anyone get behind him, and has the ball skills to easily create INTs and PBUs   Scott is also dominant against the run. He flies downhill from the secondary to wrap up and take down RBs near the line of scrimmage and in the open field to prevent huge plays. It's super impressive seeing how well-rounded Scott already is as a sophomore- he has an incredibly bright future ahead."   Scott was a constant force on defense last fall, recording 93 total tackles (46 solo), 5 INTS, 13 PUBS, 6 BLK punts, and 2 TDs.   With how well he's played his first three years, Scott has been highly recruited. This past week, Miami, Kentucky, and Georgia have reached out with offers. I'm excited to see where he ends up; he's a talented player coming out of the state's 2027 class.      [player_tooltip player_id='1610187' first='Marquis' last='Evans'] is a talented EDGE/DL for Minor who's played at a really high level these last two years.   “Evans is a dominant run-stopping DE capable of making huge stops up front. He's terrific at using his size, strength, and quickness to beat OL and get to the ball carrier, constantly coming up with huge plays in the backfield nearly every snap.   Evans is terrific in pursuit. He doesn't quit on plays and will work across the entire length of the field if it means he can come up with stops for his defense. It's impressive watching Evans' tackling- he does a great job wrapping up and can deal out some devastating hits with how strong he is.“   Evans has picked up a bunch of P4 attention over the last year, and his list just keeps growing. Yesterday, Evans picked up an offer from Miami. I'm excited to watch this kid's future unfold, he's a seriously talented player with another big year ahead.      [player_tooltip player_id='1610192' first='Tra'Von' last='Hall'] is a talented prospect from Central Tuscaloosa who's made a ton of explosive plays the last two seasons.   At WR, Hall has speed that helps him completely dominate defenses. He's twitchy, runs great routes, and can gain separation at every level of the field.   Hall has a great set of hands and frequently hauls in impressive receptions downfield. He also has the athleticism to make some really impressive plays after the catch- he's shifty and can change his direction to completely evade defenses.   Although he's currently committed to Oklahoma, Hall picked up a new offer from Florida this week! It's a testament to his talent and tape, and you can see both below.      [player_tooltip player_id='1634478' first='Keoni' last='Snipes'] is our #2 player in the 2028 class and has a whole list of teams at the next level sending offers his way.   “At 6'5 230, Snipes already has impressive size and athleticism that he uses to dominate the line of scrimmage. Snipes explodes off the snap and plays with great leverage, quickness, and pursuit to create huge stops all over the field- it's hard to believe he's only a freshman.   Snipes has already proven to be a dominant run defender. He's terrific at setting the edge and can fight off multiple blockers to get his hands on the ball carrier and create some impressive hustle plays all over the backfield.”   In the last week, Snipes has picked up offers from Georgia and Kentucky!
