He earned a distinction as one of the top 5 defensive linemen at the showcase. He has good size (6'3") and excellent bend. His ability to fire off the ball and use his athleticism against offensive linemen is impressive. During the one-on-one competition, I thought he really excelled. He showed a good ability to use his hands and strength. He has violent hands, which allow him to do a good job at the showcase. Patroni has a ton of potential. I came away impressed with him as a prospect. Then, during one-on-one, he shows good speed and athleticism. Gonzalez is a talented linebacker prospect. Unionville showed out all night with their outstanding players. He has excellent mechanics and footwork. He throws a good, accurate ball. The other part of his game I thought was impressive was his ability to move. He is a good athlete who moves well. He is good at moving inside the pocket. I thought he also did excellent during the one-on-one competitions. Overall, he did a nice job. You could see him grow as a player during the showcase, which is good to see. As a member of the 2029 class, he is a younger prospect, but he showed good ability at the showcase. I think his next spot is probably as a linebacker. Hovington is a good athlete who moves well. He is especially fluid in the way he runs routes and catches the ball in space. He has the potential to be a slot receiver and a running back next season. I love seeing him in space, where he can catch the ball and make defenders miss. He has good strength, and he is hard to move off his spot. He could get better at getting off the ball quicker, but the potential is there for him. He uses his hands well to engage with offensive linemen and rip through them.
