PRZ CA Showcase Top Performers: WR

<p><em>Taking a look at the MVP and top performers out of the WR group from Sunday's PRZ CA Stock Up Showcase on Sunday. Talented sophomore- [player_tooltip player_id='1695404' first='Kamil' last='Pelovello']- earned MVP honors and put his name on the radar of 2028 prospects to watch. </em></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">MVP </h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Pelovello earned MVP honors among the wide receiver group with the high-upside athleticism and overall skillset he showed on Sunday. The 5'11"/175 sophomore out of Servite showed his track-level speed clocking a 4.68s in the 40 and proved to be a tough matchup in the 1v1 period with the speed and quickness he brings to the table. He's a smooth runner, accelerates and hits a second gear with ease, and showed impressive hands and body control at the catch point. The PRZ CA 2027 WL prospect is a quick, twitchy athlete and was one of the toughest wideouts to run with in 1v1s. He gets off the line with fast, explosive feet in his releases, was deceptive with his eyes and breakpoints to keep DBs guessing, and showed great pacing to his routes. PRZ CA's 11th-ranked wideout in the 2027 class dominated his 1v1 reps on both sides of the ball with his high level ball skills and athleticism and was a standout playmaker on defense for Cathedral last season. The Corona del Mar senior is a big, physical target that creates separation with an aggressive route-running style, can catch in traffic and box-out defenders with his frame, and is strong with his hands at the catch point. The 6'2"/174 freshman out of Santa Margarita Catholic is a long, lanky target with good fluidity and body control for his frame and age. He chews up ground with his long strides and straight-line speed (4.70s in the 40) and does a good job of attacking the ball vertically at it's highest point.
