He's a lengthy, athletic LB that consistently showed his ability to cover and play in space, particularly in the 1v1 route period with the RBs. He packs rangy sideline-to-sideline speed, looked explosive changing direction, and matched the physicality he shows on film. He was a breakout defender in 2025 leading the Rancho Verde defense in tackles (80), sacks (4), and TFLs (12). The 5'10"/187 LB and EDGE out of Corona-Centennial is a competitive young player that consistently took and won reps against some of the top prospects at the showcase. He's highly physical, moves well, and has shown some promising potential as a future pass rusher in his recent offseason work. He proved to be one of the top athletes among the LB group clocking a 4.71-40 and a 4.25 shuttle, which was second best among all recorded times at the camp. The 6'1"/200 junior out of Helix broke out as the leading tackler for the Highlanders with 94 total (60 solo), 4 sacks, and 10 TFLs last season. On film, he's a physical playmaker that's quick to diagnose and react, closes space on the ball in a hurry, and causes havoc in the backfield as a downhill attacker. Now at Murrieta Valley after transferring out of Orange Lutheran, Goade continued to show tremendous upside in the combination of length, athleticism, and coverage skill he brings to the table. He displays great range, lateral burst/acceleration, and fits the modern prototypical LB mold with his skillset and ability to play in space. The versatile junior out of Paraclete put on noticeable weight since his previous appearance last year and has his stock trending up after picking an offer from UNLV the day after the showcase. He's a fast and physical defender that can match the athleticism of offensive playmakers and make plays from anywhere on the field.
