A big, hard-hitting defensive back from Albany, Spann is a 2027 defender on the rise who can make plays in several different ways. He's a reliable defender in coverage, shows above-average athleticism, and the ability to make a big tackle. A natural playmaker and a sure-tackler in the open field, Spann made an impressive 76 tackles with two INTs and six pass deflections to go along with two forced fumbles and two more fumble recoveries. He's an active, physical safety at 6-foot-2 180-pounds with his best football still way ahead of him. He earned an offer from Mississippi State recently and should see more come his way over the next few months and into the summer. He'll also be added to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.

Just outside of Atlanta is where you'll find a sleeper EDGE defender who could really see his recruitment pick up at some point this spring or summer. He brings a lengthy frame at 6-foot-4 210-pounds and brings natural athleticism as a multi-sport standout and a versatile player on the gridiron. A playmaking tight end on offense, Brewintgon scored two touchdowns on that side of the ball while making a big impact defensively, making 34 tackles and three sacks while breaking up two passes. Look for Brewington to see a new Prep Redzone ranking come his way along with the possibly of having a really strong senior season in 2026.

A max-effort defender in Atlanta who showed last fall he can absolutely play at the next level, Wilson is a big 6-foot-3 230-pound edge defender with length, quickness, and a really impressive motor. He fires off the ball quickly and lived in the backfield all year long for a talented Woodward Academy defense. One of the more productive 2027 defenders in the city, Wilson made 36 tackles, 19 TFLs and 10 sacks to go along with 15 more quarterback pressures. He was a consistently active defender who should be really tough to stop as a senior next fall.

A big defensive lineman in metro-Atlanta who can really move and fire off the ball, Horne is fresh off a fantastic junior season where he made play after play in the backfield. Not only does he bring plenty of size at 6-foot-2 275-pounds, but he also plays fast in the trenches and has no problem fitting the gaps and causing chaos in the backfield. Not only was he a dependable run defender, but he also showed he can attack the quarterback in the backfield. The playmaking defender was one of the region's more effective defensive linemen, making 72 tackles, 19 TFLs and nine sacks.

A Gwinnett County defensive lineman coming off an impressive junior season, Glass is flying under the radar way too much for someone 6-foot-3 220-pounds who consistently made plays for a talented North Gwinnett defense. He plays hard, he's tough, and knows how to sneak his way into the backfield. One of the more productive defensive linemen in the region, Glass was an impactful defender in the trenches on a weekly basis, securing 45 tackles on the season with 16 TFLs and seven sacks to go along with 13 more quarterback pressures. He's a sleeper defensive end to know about next year as a senior and should be a new Prep Redzone ranking come his way in the next update.
