Pro MN Athletics Offensive Linemen Acacdemy Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We checked in at the STMA Dome for double coverage of the first session of their Offensive Linemen Academy and on the other half of the field, was their 7v7 teams scrimmaging so their was plenty to see on Saturday morning in St. Michael. You couldn't miss on this kid from the eye test with his frame as he still has plenty of time to fill out even more as just an 8th grader. Leiland not only was quick for his age with his first step, the generation of power and leverage was great to see for his age. I loved at the end of the session watching the effort this kid plays with, as he took on a much bigger offensive linemen in their tug of war battle and in the end Leiland showed off his work ethic to battle back to win the rep. The upside Chase has is there for the taking, as he was an OL prospect that I felt got better quickly watching his reps as a freshmen that took coaching well for his age. His footwork caught my attention first as I was impressed with how sudden Finn was when he got into the second level as another offensive linemen that had a quick growth ceiling from watching his first reps to his final reps from the first session of the offensive linemen academy. He popped out to me for having one the better bases I saw amongst the offensive linemen group as his feet, bend, and alignment were on point in my eyes. Blake showed off the fluid lateral movement as well with his quickness as he showed off balanced technique in his reps from start to finish on Sunday at the STMA Dome. The 6'3 230 pounder was quite balanced with his footwork with the size he has at his disposal and showed off how explosive he can become with his downhll quickness at the second level. Sam also showed off the attention to the small details, as he was one of the most well-aligned underclassmen in attendance during the drills I watched. Logan showed off the athletic body type that still has plenty of room to grow into over the coming years. He boosted some the fastest and most athletic footwork I saw amongst offensive linemen during the session and I was intrigued by the wingspan Logan boosted in the reps I watched as I felt he was still developing on how to utilze his length. Logan also was sudden getting to his top speed which could benefit him as a pull-blocker in space in the near future with the Bulldogs. The 6'6 260 pounder showed off great fluidity in his footwork for his size and showed off a well-versed first step that showed off the lateral quickness Evan has built with that size. I also thought the hand speed that Evan showed off the jump in his reps was one of the best we saw during reps as not only that, Evan was also sound with his pad-level and hand placement from my eyes.
