Offseason Movers: 8 National Sleepers to Offer in Alabama

College coaches are back on the road, and high school players are being offered again. Here are a few national sleepers in Alabama who are worthy of D1 offers.    Consider myself intrigued with Garner, a towering basketball athlete who was one of the most productive junior QBs in Alabama this past fall. He has a long, over-the-top release that he can speed up to get the ball out quickly. Easy-going, smooth operator in the pocket who impresses me with his touch and finesse as a passer. Can loft the ball with towering trajectory down the field, giving his receivers a chance to run underneath it. He is still raw and growing into himself, but he has practically no recruiting buzz for a rare traits QB who has produced. At least FCS offer worthy, in my eyes.     Similar to Garner, Smith was highly productive as a junior and is impressive traits-wise, but the recruiting noise is still quiet. He is a stout baseball athlete who plays catcher, and you can tell from his build. Strong, built from the ground up with plenty of horsepower. Smith touches each part of the yard, and he does it off-platform and on the move. Easy arm strength with the finesse to move it up and down. Plays with good timing and placement, too. Well-rounded player who should garner FCS love as a QB. Love the tape here.     I highlighted Sollie earlier this month, and in a 2028 QB class that is still taking shape, he is someone to monitor closely. He has a tall, lean frame with room to fill out. Just a smooth, clean evaluation, which will help him consistently stand out in this class. Clean throwing mechanics with the ability to tap into different velocities and trajectories. Tough player in the pocket with the athleticism needed to evade pressure. D1 QB prospect here to track.     Price exploded into one of the leading rushers in Alabama this fall. He is a true bruiser, coming in at a thick 6'2 220. He is light enough on his feet to take yards available and get to the second level, but I wouldn't call him a burner. Instead, he is an effortless mover through traffic. Tacklers just roll off of him, and he will drop a shoulder and throw stiff arms at guys to tack on extra yards at the end of runs. Several small schools should get involved here if they're looking for a bruiser, and possibly even some D1's.     Able has tacked on some D1 offers in the past and is rated highly by us here at PRZ, but he is still someone without a whole lot of buzz nationally. I definitely like the tape. He is a strong, stout player with a low center of gravity. He is explosive in the short areas and has elite contact balance. His ability to restart runs and stay balanced through traffic is impressive. He has the foot speed and head nods in space to create some yards for himself. High floor runner with years of production under his belt.     [player_tooltip player_id='1895342' first='Braylon' last='Lawson'] is a well-rounded back with big play potential from any spot on the field. He is a twitchy, scrappy runner in congested areas, running hard at contact with jolts of twitch to make the most out of each run. Frequently breaks several tackles and works his way out of tight spots en route to big runs. He is a leggy player with long strides, helping him maintain his top gear and lift off from his level of competition. Lawson does a lot of things well and is a clear D1 RB talent despite little recruiting attention.     Chambliss is an underrated, explosive back out of Sylacauga with a well-rounded skillset. A two-way player who will settle as RB. He is a lean, cut athlete with room to get bigger. He is light on his feet in the short areas with the ability to decelerate and gear down to jump across the face of defenders and into new running lanes. Flashes the long speed to outrun his current level of comp, but his money will be made based on his short-area quickness and ability to get tough yards.     Roberts is a stout, twitchy back who should garner D1 attention this offseason. Roberts is elite in the short areas, playing with the twitch and foot speed to nickel and dime his way around traffic. He is explosive as well, quickly getting vertical when he plants. I love the patience that flashes on the tape, squeezing his blocks and often using them for easy access to space.
