NV 2028 Rankings Update: New Additions to the Top-50

<p><em>Taking a look at some of the new additions to the overall top-50 in PRZ Nevada's latest update to the 2028 rankings.</em></p>    <p class="text-gray-700">McZeal broke out as one of the most explosive playmakers in Nevada's 2028 class with his strong sophomore campaign for Palo Verde. The 5'9"/145 two-way standout totaled just under 600 receiving yards and 11 TDs on offense and 39 tackles on defense last season. He's a fast, twitched-up WR and a smooth, easy separator as a route runner with his ability to mix up tempo/pacing and elite start-stop quickness. He's deceptive and creative in his releases, possesses the speed to out-pace defenders as a vertical threat, and shows great body control adjusting to the ball. The 5'11"/170 FS brings a physical element to the secondary with his ability to tackle and make plays in space. He shows range and instincts as a centerfield coverage defender, is quick to react downhill to close space, and looks to deliver punishment to WRs coming across the middle. PRZ NV's third-ranked EDGE prospect racked up 95 tackles (55 solo), 8 sacks, and 24 TFLs last season. He's a fast, athletic OLB that showed his versatility rushing off the edge and making plays as a downhill off-ball defender. He's explosive off the ball, possesses the closing speed and lateral range to defend the perimeter, and packs impressive speed-to-power as a rusher. The 5'10"/150 cornerback is a lean, twitchy athlete with high upside in his athletic skillset. He's a fast accelerator that possesses great recovery speed and the pace to stay tight to vertical threats. He's quick out of the break, shows impressive start-stop speed, and has the ball skills to capitalize on turnover opportunities in coverage. Boulder City's two-way standout (WR/DB) totaled 4 TDs and led the defense with 6 INTs and 12 PBUs as a sophomore. He's a ballhawk in the secondary that excels as a coverage playmaker with his speed, quickness, and ball skills. He's explosive with the ball in his hands, is a dynamic player in space, and offers high-upside positional versatility. The 6'/210 defensive end tallied 23 tackles, 6 sacks, and 11 TFLs as a sophomore. He's an athletic defender that consistently makes plays in the backfield with his quick get-off and closing speed. He shows good technique with his hands and pass-rush moves/counters, is efficient in his angles of pursuit, and plays with a churning motor. The 6'1"/260 sophomore is mobile and light on his feet athletically with the strength and power to anchor down in pass-pro and move bodies in the run game. He's violent with his hands, shows good lateral agility, and plays with great positional skill/IQ.
